Okay, right, I haven't played these. But I have it to understand that there are three Road Rash games for Playstation. (Road Rash, Road Rash: Jailbreak, and Road Rash 3D.)
Anybody played 'em? They any good?

I haven't played one since the Sega Genesis days.
They were okay from what I recall, just an average motorbike game with some mario kart attacking elements (you can whip people with a chain to gain phat leadz).

The only really good RoadRash was the one on the 3DO. Now we're talking! It had just the right about of hardware power for that game.

They look like just another milk-money-from-nostalgic-older-gamers kinda thing.
Y'know, much like what Mortal Kombat's become. rolleyes

Y'know, much like what Mortal Kombat's become. rolleyes Hey, I think Mortal Kombat Deception and Armageddon are relatively meaty fighting games with enough extras to make it worth a purchase if you're a fan of the genre (like Kao and I are) when the prices go down. Granted, the storylines and characters are a bit shark-jumpy, but hey, that's what a character creator is for.

...Become? Go play the original Mortal Kombat, it plays like a combination of a** and molasses.
Rly though, I fall neatly into that market, and it's like five bucks for each now. I just don't know whether they've preserved the "whip the next guy with a chain" magic of the original.

Hmm. You're referring to the PS1 version of RoadRash now? I can only guess as to how good that version is.

I was so pissed off at Mortal Kombat 3. Levels sucked, character designs sucked, that centaur boss is freaking impossible to beat.

Road Rash was AWESOME! I played it at Universal Citywalk when it was first released, and just beat the everloving s**t out of everyone.

BE! Road Rash was AWESOME! I played it at Universal Citywalk when it was first released, and just beat the everloving s**t out of everyone. That's really what sets Road Rash apart from all other racing games. Sure, you might WANT to maul that dude in the black car, but you can't - he's a car. And you can't punch a car. But in Road Rash...you can totally punch that guy.

Wendigo I meant Playstation 1 from the beginning? I don't know what version you thought I meant. I was talking about the 3DO version, which is the one that got me into the game. It was probably the most often used game demo for when that system came out.
