In an obscure part of town, you come across a small quaint shop, which sort of reminds you of those old fashion magic shops. The place looked old but in good shape, the place made of a dark wood with stained glass windows. Above the door on a dark wooden plaque are the words 'Sanctuary of Souls', likely the name of the shop. As you open the door the shop and step inside, a little bell rings to signal your arrival in the shop.

Glancing around the shop, you see myriad bookshelves along the walls, on which are books, crystals, vials of various colored liquids, various shaped figurines, and many other things. In the center of the room are a few dark colored cushy looking couchs around a wooden coffee table. Scattered around the room are a few statues, chairs, and plants. At the back of the shop is a small walkway with two stair cases, one leading to the upper floors of the shop, and one leading down into the depths of the shop.

A woman with long slighty wavy black hair wearing black oriental style clothing with white designs on them and glasses walks towards you from one of the couchs which she had been sitting on. "Irashaimasen!" she said in greeting in a silky voice with a small bow and a smile. With a gesture around the shop she added, "Welcome to the Sanctuary of Souls, my name is Reina, I am the shopkeeper." she waved at the couch opposite to the one she had been siting on previously, "Please, have a seat." she said, sitting back in the place she had sat before.

Lil had crossed paths with the shop many times in his travels through the town's more secluded streets. He always looked at it with an insane curiosity that never quite seemed to bubble over, considering his bank account could hardly afford any food letalone some magical trinkets. At least that's what he had thought the shop contained, until he actually went inside. There was an eerie drawing to the door as he placed his hand on the knob, turning and pushing it open as he peered inside. A shiver ran through him but it was quickly countered by his attraction to shiny things.

The boy quietly speed walked over to the shelves that contained crystals and oggled over them. "So pretty! I wish I could afford things like this." He chuckled and moved over, ghosting a finger over the wooden shelf as he began looking at the liquids and figurines. "So many things in this place, I wonder why I never came in." He scratched his chin and turned around to continue looking when he heard footsteps. Lil spun around with wide eyes and stuttered, nearly falling back as he saw the woman.

"Ah! Sorry, I didn't mean to touch anything. I was just looking around, honest!" Lil looked away and tucked back a lock of his blonde hair back behind his ear and followed the woman to the couch. He sat down and looked up slightly as he fiddled with his hands. "My name is Lilian Guy -- yes, my parents had such a fun sense of humor." He rolled his eyes with a small smile before perking up, "This is a really nice shop you have here! I've always been meaning to come in here but I never really had time."

Reina watched as Lil enter the shop and quickly became attracted by the objects she had around the shop. She smiled warmly at him as she led the way to the couches and waved her hand dismissively, "Don't worry about it. Touch anything you'd like. If I didn't want people touching things, I wouldn't display them out here. Though thats not why they are out here." she said with a chuckle before pouring a cup of tea and offering it to Lil, "Tea? Its a very good blend."

"Well, its not really a bad name." she said with a chuckle, playing with a lock of her dark hair, "I've heard of much worse names." she said with a twinkle in her silverish eyes, before she took her own cup of tea from the table and sipped from it, "Thank you, I rather like the shop myself. Well, you've been drawn in on this day..." she paused looking thoughtfully at him, studying him, "You wouldn't happen to be interested in perchasing a soul, would you?" she asked with a smile, as if she was asking if you'd like to adopt a kitten.

Lil relaxed a little at the relief of knowing that the shopkeeper wasn't mad at his touching and sat back after carefully grabbing the tea. "Thank you." He took a small sip and smiled, his heat-sensitive tongue tingling slightly. "It's pretty good," he said shyly before taking another sip and bringing it down to his lap. "Yeah, I suppose it isn't two bad, but it's not that great either." He laughed along with Reina, "Really? Their names must be really bad, then." He smiled and brought the teacup back up to his lips before pausing.

"Excuse me? Eh? A soul? Well, it sounds interesting enough." Lil's curiosity was perked once again and he leaned forward in his seat. "Although I do need a little bit of info on it, first. I have a tendency to jump right into things, which isn't very good. Especially when it involves things that need a lot of care." He blushed and smiled, running his free hand through his hair.

Reina smiled as she watched him sip the tea. "Thank you, I always like when people enjoy the tea I've made." she said before sipping her tea and smiling, "Oh yes. They were teased alot because of there names." she paused and grined mischiviously, "They aren't anymore though, might have something to do with the fact that they became assasins." she shrugged as if she wasn't sure that was the real reason, but just the one people used to avoid the truth.

"Yes, a soul. An entity whose life's flame has been extinguished." she said, gesturing at a lit candle on the table, where you were sure there wasn't one a minute before. She waved her hand over the flame and it went out, various colors of smoke rising from the wick, combining in the air to make beautiful everchanging images. "They do not usually need alot of care, but they do require a bit." she said before asking again, "Would you be interested?"

"You're welcome! It takes a lot of work to make tea, unless it's those tea bags you buy in the drugstore. But that isn't real tea in my opinion." Lilian smiled sweetly and took another sip, nearly choking when assasins were mentioned. He lowered his cup and gave a curious look but decided it was best not to drag the conversation away from its main purpose.

Th eyoung man was a little uneasy when the talk of souls began, but he was still into the idea; it was just a little sad that a flame had to burn out before he could ge this opportunity. "I see..uhh, woah." He stared at the candle in awe as the smoke painted pictures right before him. "Wow." He leaned forward in his chair and gave a small nod to her question, "Yes, I'm quite interested."

Reina smiled serenely when Lilian nearly choked on the tea when she mentioned assassins. It was always amusing to catch people offguard. When he stared at the smoke images in awe she smiled warmly at him, "Hmm... You know? I think I have a soul that might interest you." she said with a small chuckle before standing up, "Wait here a moment, and I'll be right back." she said before strading over to the back hallway and disappearing.

While Lilian waited, the smoke continued forming pictures in the air, possibly to entertain him in the short time Reina was gone. Seemed to be telling the tale of a stray kitten's adventures through someone's house while the owner wasn't there. The smoke faded away as two sets of footsteps announced Reina's return. Behind her as she lead the way to the couches, was a slightly ashen skined man with short red hair, slightly pointed ears, and closed eyes. He seemed to be missing shoes... And a shirt for that matter. (whatever happened to the no shirt no shoes no service thing?) He appeared to be wearing leather pants and alot of straps, along with a spiked collar. But what really caught one's eyes, were the red leathern wings on his back, and the horns on top of his head.

She lead the demon, for what else could he be?, and sat him down carefully so that his wings, which were currently folded somewhat on his back, didn't get caught on the couch. She looked at Lillian, "His name..." she said as she gently traced over his eyelids with the tip of her finger, "is Samael." a slight red glow seemed to come from his eyes as they slowly opened, revealing red irises, slitted pupils, and black sclera (the usually white part of the eye).

( You may take over playing Samael now. ^^ )

Lilian cocked his head to the side, his lips parted slightly as the mysterious woman lured him further. "A soul that might interest me?" His head dipped softly as Reina stood up and moved to where his eyes could not follow. I wonder what she has up her sleeve? Err, or behind her dark corners. Yeah, that's more like it. He was still watching for the woman when a soft cloud distracted him. It was an interesting picture and it mesmirised him like he was a child, even if the story was a little young for him. Lil shook his head when he heard the steps and leaned forward, his eyes locked on the new boy.

The stranger intruiged him far more than Reina, and it wasn't because of what he appeared to be. It was because the boy looked flawless; a perfect image of an angel...but he was a demon. Lilian shrugged to himself and settled back into the couch, trying to calm his excitement only to have it rise again when he saw the glow. Not being able to contain himself, Lil quickly set down his tea and slowly got off the couch, moving towards the soul. "Samael..."

"Yes?" The young boy blinked a few times and leaned forward, mimicking Lilian's movements exactly. Well, other than the occasional twist of the head to try and get a better view of this new face in front of him. His tongue clicked as he analyzed and, when he was done, he crouched down into a squatting position. He tapped at the floor and turned his head all around, curious to figure out his surroundings just in case he needed to utilize them in the near future. When he heard the quiet rustle of clothes and the increasing volume of the stranger's breathing, he immediately returned to the couch, still in a crouching position, and stared at the man who tried to approach him.

Lilian jerked back at the suddenness of Sameal's movement, waving his hands back and forth. "Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you! I was just..curious, I can't help myself sometimes." He rubbed the back of his neck and looked at Reina, silently asking for some guidance in this situation before turning back. "I...umm, I'm Lilian Guy. It's nice to meet you, Samael."

Reina smiled and sat back on the couch as she watched the two interact, her tea cup back in her hand. She idly ran a finger along Samael's wing that was closest to her as she turned her head to looks at Lilian, "Isn't he lovely?" she asked in a way that made her sound somewhat like a obsessive collector of rarities showing off one of their prize possessions.

After a moment she spoke again, "He interests you, was I right?" she asked with a warm smile before taking a sip of her tea. With her hand that wasn't holding the tea cup she flourished a piece of paper from out of thin air and presented it to Lillian on the table, placing an ornate pen down next to it, "If you wish to have him, all you must do is sign here and pay the fee." she said and gesturing at a signature line at the bottom of the parchment.
