Backstage Prince is a really cute manga about a girl that falls in love with a guy that is an actor in a Kabuki theater. It is fun to watch how Akari and famous actor, Shonosuke get together. I really like Mr. Ken the cat. He's so cute.
Another thing that I liked about it is that Akari has to have a lot of strength to deal with the fans, Shonosuke being away a lot, and other factors. I am only on volume one, but I think it's worth continuing.

So far I am really liking it. It's just that I do not want the main character to be a whiner. Sometimes she gets to that point, but she's not too bad. I like Shonosuke.

I finish reading it on shojo beat and i love it heart I wish that something like that could happen to me but instead of falling in love with a kabuki actor I rather it be with a regular actor or something like that. It would be soo cute xp

I love that eventhough it's only two manga volumes. I've only read the one's in Shojo Beat magazine though, and I still like the ideas of it. 3nodding

I didn't know that it was only two volumes long. It is very interesting. I like the see the different sides of the main characters. It's nice to see how they act all professional in public, but in private you get to see how they truly feel about one another.

Yeah I think they announced that it was only two volumes in the March edition of Shojo Beat.

I finished it in the magazine. I'm definately happy that it's a short and sweet series. There are far too many long series that I can't keep up with. ^^;;
