The disgraced knight of the kingdom of Magdreil, Shinsuke Myoto, trudges through the desert, winds howling, the air thick with dust. This plain was south of said Kingdom, and behind him came the most noble of all Magdreil's knights, hounding him as a fox hounds a rodent. Azgain Matsumodo, the holy knight, he came to Magdreil on pilgrimage some years ago, around the time Shinsuke himself arrived on the contenent of Carthinias. They had trained under the same captain, both hoping to join Magdreils' Royal Guard. What Azgain was after now; the blade resting in Shinsuke's grip. The demonic blade known as Soriyuki-Oni, it was rightfully his after all. No one had the right to take it from him, it was his, and he would fight a legion of men and die before he let it slip through his fingers again.

immediatly sensing the presence of someone near, Shinsuke tightens his grip on Soriyuki-Oni's hilt. He did not know wether the presence was freind or foe, be he could not afford to be ill prepared. Letting the dark power consume him, and flow through his veins was a small effort, almost something of a habit, but every time he embraced it, it was a difficult task to allow himself to release it. When it filled him, he felt alive, he felt as if releasing it would be the end of everything, but that was also what made the dark power dangerous.

His back still turned, Shinsuke calls out to the other person. "Speak your name, and your purpose, before you strike at me." Strinking a match, Shinsuke touches it to the cigerette in his lips, before puffing the small flame out.

"Fear? Is that what your mind tells you i'm feeling? Well think what you will, I am Shinsuke. You have no need for my last name, unless that is you seek a bounty. As for the knights, how did you gain this information? The knights of Magdreil do not openly display power in front of the citizens."

“Ezekiel? No. I’m afraid I have no recollection of such a man.” A plume of thick smoke rises in the air as he speaks. “It seems I have nothing for you then.” Shinsuke turns and faces Ren-Shiro, still holding on to the dark power.

“I do not wish to be further involved with that man. That is my reason for deceiving you. I apologize, but I have no information for you.” Shinsuke frowned as he said this, letting the aura dissipate in a flurry of dust.

"What a neat little trick. From my time in the underworld though, I can honestly say it is nothing more than that. Perhaps I am wrong though? If you can prove me a fool in battle, then i will tell you what it is you desire to know. Then, and only then." A scowl crossed Shinsukes face as he pulled his demonic blade from its sheath.
