Meh, the story was too rushed for the newly introduced characters to have time to properly develop. Berii is very similar to Ichigo, but with more special little bits that make her more... ah, annoying than the Pink Mew; she has so many superfluous extras that I have trouble recognizing her as an actual Mew. What gets me the most about the miniseries, however, is how poorly developed the villians are. The Saint Rose Crusaders had a lot of potential, in my opinion, but due to the length of the series, they fell way short of what they could've achieved.

... 'Course, I used that to my advantage with a few stories I've cooked up, including the backstory for my fancharacter, Mew Licorice. ^^;

I Agree with them. I just wished that Ringo could of had her own story along with Berri. I know she's in the Video Game but I wished that she would of been in A La Mode too. crying

The editor didn't want to continue the series. Ikumi didn't know that it would last so short.

Yes! I've read the a la mode series! and i just love berry! she's so pretty! isn't ichigo also still the leader so they're two leaders right? well berry is still cool! go berry! xd

I read A La Mode before I read the original TMM manga. I really like Berry. Her mew costume is one of my favorites, I'd even say Berry is one my favorite characters. I agree that it didn't go far enough into the characters backrounds. I wish the series could have been longer!
I love Berry and Meguro as a couple <3

I've read the first few volumes, and Berri is an alright character. The only thing that bothered me was that the plot went very slow through the volumes, at least it seemed to anyway. .
