yeah, I just started going to some wrestling forums and it seems some of the wrestling fans are close minded towards specific feds and everything, I mean with Ring of Honor fans (some of them) they usually start to love Puro wrestling and detests anything from CZW, and with CZW (some not all) fans usually love Hardcore wrestling but detests Puro and stiff and things like that.

I mean I hear most people all the time go "F*ck CZW" or "RoH sucks!" or things like that and after watching a promo from CZW's Eddie Kingston, it made me realize. People don't want to like wrestling in general, most people want to have a fed to love and want just one wrestler to love and things like that...as for myself I'm a big fan of all kinds of wrestling and I'm not afraid to look at something different and say, "hm, this is different"...

Am I the only one that think that some wrestling fans can be a little too...one dimensional?

that's exactly what I mean, I mean sometimes some people say that they are fans of "wrestling" but instead they are just fans of a specific wrestler or a specific fed. I mean I like all feds and wrestlers in general no matter what the situation may be, some wrestlers tend to get on my nerves (*cough* Batista *cough*) but all in all I never pay attention to what goes on out of the ring half the time.

Most people read too much into wrestling and almost look for reasons to not like something. Those fans just get on my nerves sometimes.

As for me, I like CZW, RoH, IWA-MS, WWE, TNA, CMLL, Zero-1 Max and CHIKARA

and it's not just for the wrestlres, just for the wrestling

Well, I am willing to give a promotion a chance, but if they burn me, such as TNA has done over the past few months, then forget it. I don't mind a show that advances storylines, but why can't you do that in a wrestling match, rather than an interview? For instance, if Cena has a title defense at the PPV against HBK, then on RAW, Cena faces Umaga in a match, and Umaga destroys him. OMG, will Cena be ready for HBK? You see, like that. You don't need any interviews for that to be effective.

As for myself, I look for workrate. I look to see if the wrestlers are really trying. When they're not, I generally give up on the promotion.

NOAH, NJPW, Zero-1 MAX

America
ROH, IWA-MS (sometimes), Shimmer

Extinct Promotions
WCW, ECW, Jim Crockett Promotions

I don't like deathmatches- at all, but I will gladly spend an hour watching two men trade holds with each other. I don't like big spots necessarily, and I mark out for atheleticism in general. Put atheleticism and character in the same wrestler, and what you get are guys like AJ Styles and Bryan Danielson, guys that I will follow no matter how badly the promotion does, because I know how talented they are.

It is getting harder to find fans who like wrestling no matter what kind it is. I watch any kind of wrestling. CZW,WWE,TNA,PWG,Zero one MAX, NJPW, FMW,3XW,NIW, BJPW, ROH, Chikara Pro Wrestling, just about everything. Another thing that is really lacking is support for local feds. It's sad when local indys with good product fold because they have no big stars.
