These creatures have been labled Villainous by their actions and general feelings toward the races and even other creatures. These are all very dangerous creatures to come in contact with and any player may encounter them. The only acception is the Falor which needs to be played by a Mod.

Trogs

User Image

Even though the Trogs are about the size of a cat, don’t let their size fool you. These creatures have a bad attitude and the ferocity to back it up. While usually solitary, even from their own kind, they will only come around if they see a chance to cause some mayhem among the taller races. If there is anything shorter than it however it merely eats the creature out of spite for others. With sharp claws and a long wiry tail they could be compared to rats and they are about as cuddly as one. They have developed a love for stealing things as well. With no particular interest to value, they will lift anything that isn’t already theirs to begin with. Often forgetting their size, a Trog will attack and try to kill anything if the mood takes it at that moment. No real brains they do everything on instinct, which may explain their unpredictable behavior.

Tials

User Image

About the size of a large warhorse, the Tials is a force to be reckoned with when angered. The Tials is covered in a thick fur, which is always a solid color, the mane running along its spine and the tail all being solid color as well, but in a darker shade than the main body. The pieces of what appear to be armor are actually evolved bone to look like this, offering a scary look as well as a great defense against enemies or when fighting one another. Their odd hooves, which appear to be a mix of horse hoof and bird scales are extremely tough, making their kicks and scratches a deadly thing. While they do carry a bad attitude, this is only directed to anything not a Tials as they live in herds and families peacefully. If one of these can be caught and broken they make good mounts for the villains of the times.

Myts

User Image

Fairly humanoid in appearance stature and height, the Myts love pain. They love to inflict in on themselves, but mostly on other people just to hear the screams and see the blood. The Myts are usually seen with no less than 5 piercing in any one spot on the body that can be pierced. All Myts are black in color, but the hair varies from a fire red to a white silver color. Powerful legs that are tipped with feet holding razor sharp claws give the Myts a powerful kick that leaves a deadly gash. Their hands are also tipped with long sharp claws that are used for cutting and slashing the enemy’s skin from bone. The tail is rather uneventful in the eyes of the Myts, and are thus fitted with a hand made tail spike. They don’t usually wear a lot of clothes other than leather, belts, and a loin cloth for reasons all their own. While they are wild they are also skilled weapon and armor smiths, making great daggers and shoulder armor, which seems out of place for the Myts.

Guardians

User Image

As their name suggests, the Guardians guard items and gold, making them useful for protecting treasuries and stolen goods. About the size of the Centaur, the Guardians are a terrible sight to behold. With the skin and muscle around the jaw and muzzle pulled tight they have the appearance of large teeth and a skeletal head. With multiple sets of eyes they are able to pick up any movement in their field of vision, making them impossible to hide from. The long horn that curves forward from the Guardians head is kept sharp like a sword, along with its claws on both foot and hand. Its head and the top of its torso are covered in a coarse fur, which doesn’t seem to serve any real purpose other than for show while the rest of the body is a tough hide. The Guardians are used by Villains to protect stolen items of value or stockpiles of gold. Guardians and Dragons do not get along at all.

Falor*

User Image

Evil in every since of the word, a Falor is made of the molten lava from the center of Joura’s core making it the hardest creature to fight. Their sole purpose is to command the ranks of the other evil kin and lead the fight against Joura and its people. Their armor is made of the hardened rock of lava while their weapons are made of the lava and fire itself. Being able to summon such weapons from nothing they can have any kind of weapon at any point in time, making them that much more deadly. While it is believed that Falor only come in the Female gender, no one has been able to get close enough to tell. Everyone should steer clear of a Falor and should not attempt to seek one out.

* Because of the nature of the Falor only Mods may play them. If you wish to encounter one of these creatures PM Crytuf and either she will do it, or she will get one of the Mods to play one for you.

Harpy

User Image

Ferocious creatures Harpies. They lure people into their claws with a beautiful song like that a beautiful maiden would sing. When the person under the lure of the song finds the source they soon find that they will not meet a maiden and come under attack by the Harpy. Human looking in stature they have bird like claws for hands, huge bird like wings, and a birds tail feathers. Unlike the Harpies of legend, these Harpies are actually beautiful women with an ugly attitude. They hate everyone and only make alliances with people as evil as themselves. The Harpies favored weapon is the whip, which they use to flay the flesh from peoples bones. They love to torture people for fun, enjoying the sounds of a persons screams and the ringing it leave in the Harpies ears. Harpies travel in groups of three to five; all parties would be advised to have an equal number of members if not more when encountering these creatures.

Nightmare

User Image

A large black horse with the wings of a bat twice its size, they come from where their name suggests. Born in the realm of Nightmares this horse brings terror to people of all kinds, mostly children. With eyes that glow an unearthly red they can only be brought to the mortal plain by a strong mage or wizard. They can also come over themselves if they become strong enough to break through the plain barrier. Only the strongest, most evil persons that walk Joura can tame them. Not creatures to be trifled with they are very violent and strike out against anything that doesn’t radiate bad intent and an evil aura.

Akirei

User Image

These evil creatures are about as tall as an average human, ranging from 5’5” to 6 feet in height. Looking like a mix between a wolf and a horse, the Akirei are known to travel in groups of 5 to 8 and are deadly when confronted. When seen it is often remarked that they smile when they see you, smile when they kill you, and smile when they leave whats left of you for the scavengers. Always smiling with that sharp devilish grin, they tend to leave survivors with nightmares that plague them until the death of the Akirei that attacked said person. They sleep during the day, mostly in dark caves with enough room for the whole pack, or under thick forest. Being either black or grey in color means they are especially hard to spot by travelers.

Glums

User Image

Nasty creatures with teeth to match their attitude, Glums are not the nicest things you could meet traveling. Glums come from swampy places, living in both the muddy waters and on the land surrounding them. These four legged creatures have had years of evolution do a number on their eyes, making them almost completely blind on the land but unmatched in sight underwater. But they are not completely unaware on land, a sharp sense of smell can pin point a dragon-fly a hundred yards off. With a limited ability to see anything on land they tend to strike out against anything that comes within their range of attack. It is hard to out run a Glum as these monsters are notoriously fast despite their appearance.

Sand Worms
User Image

They're huge, they're vicious, and they come in all colors of the rainbow. Sand Worms are something you should hope you never meet. They move through the ground seemingly unhindered, and their armored bodies are extremely resilient to most forms of attack. These terrible beasts can swallow a man whole, and won't hesitate to do so, either! Just because they're blind and deaf doesn't mean you shouldn't be afraid of them; one step near one and it'll be all over you like vultures on carrion. Should you encounter more than one at a time...it's better not to think about it. While they are native to the deserts of Kayro, there have been one or two cases of Sand Worm encounters outside of the desert. However, events like this are extremely rare.

Gumos

User Image

Gumos are gigantic spider creatures (major emphasis on gigantic). These creatures reverse the role of men and spiders. Possibly the only creature larger than a Gumo is a Vega. These humongous arachnids are nomadic, meaning they move from place to place, as soon as they reach maturity. They never stay in the same place for more than a couple of months, and often travel in groups of four to eight. They travel to the desert of Kayro once every season to mate, leave their eggs behind and get on the move again. The hatchlings are about half the size of an average man, about the size of an adult Gumo's foot, and stay in the desert of Kayro for a month to mature. They won't hesitate to eat anything that moves, but strangely don't attack passersby without reason. They may be millions of times the size of the common spider, but they still have the same behavior, only attacking when they feel threatened. Just pray to the gods that you aren't around when they're hungry.
