Shanghai had been traveling for days without rest, telling anyone and everyone he encountered about Tisho and his plan for the world. So far, everyone had been opposed to him, and it was starting to frustrate him. The fact that his love, Aijou, would not even side with him, was also making him rather grim. He did not lose heart however, for he knew that Tisho was powerful, and that he could not be stopped, those who opposed him would be crushed in due time. That was how Shanghai saw it, at least.

Faramir was walking along huffily, grumbling to himself angrily. It had beens a long time since he had run away, and he still hadn't forgotten his father's angry words. If there was one thing he wanted in life, it was to prove Klonoa wrong. He slipped along, leaves crunching under his muscular paws.

Zac and Kin walked side by side as they went along. Though having the power of light. Having entered the dark area, there must have been another reason then just ecsploring for why they had came here.

Shanghai glanced around, and as luck would have it, there were several tocous in the distance. One was extremely dark in color, the others bright. He bounded in their direction, they were not all together, but they would all see him.
He approached the darkest first. For some reason, he looked slightly familiar, like he had seen him before. Wait, he had! Shanghai remembered this tocou, he had been there when he hatched.
"Faramir? Is that you?" He asked after searching his memory for the name of the darker cub who had now grown so much.

Kin and Zac soon saw Shangai off in the distance. They glanced at each other and sped up a bit, soon making a stop, a few feet away from Shangai.

Shanghai glanced down at the younger tocous. They were small, but any tocou could be useful, even if they couldn't fight. Shanghai knew that Tisho had a secret weapon that needed working on, and even the youngest tocous would be helpful to it.
"Hello little ones, and who might you be?" He asked, his face neutral. He didn't look or sound happy, but not hostile or unkind either.

"My name is Kin." She replied, standing up for a second then walking a few inches forward. "My name is Zac." The male tocou also replied.

Faramir slowly turned, his expression strangely ominous. His memories were jerked back into his mind as he struggled to remember the Tocou who seemed so familiar. Shanghai, was it?
"....Yes." his expression grew serious, "Don't tell my parents where I am, or I swear, I shall never let you rest."
Faramir had obviously grown more hostile and vicious since he had left his home, and his eyes looked dead and emotionless.

"Nice to meet you, Kin and Zac." Shanghai said, nodding to each in turn before returning his attention to Faramir.
"Gotten a little snappy, eh?" Shanghai asked, a smirk on his face. "Make no mistake, I am no friends with your parents." He shook his head. "However, you do seem the type that can help me. Or rather, help us all. I'm recruiting tocous to assist with a... Project."

Shanghai was surprised at the children's eagerness, but it didn't matter, they wanted in and that was what was important.
"I take it that you want to be independent of your parents?" Shanghai asked Faramir, "Well, it's that kind of project. A new world order, actually." He smirked, "One where we are in control."

Faramir nodded unenthusiastically, kneading the ground.
"Control..." he echoed, looking up into the sky in thought, "Count me in."
"You have forgotten your parents?" a voice said.
Wolfgang emerged from behind a bush, his paws slowly feeling in front of him.
"I'm dissappointed in you, Zac."
The Tocou might've been blind, but his sense of smell was as good as ever.

"Good, we could use your help." He said with a smile, not really a friendly smile, but one that hid something diabolical behind it. No harm was meant to those who joined with him, but those opposed... That was a different story.
Shanghai quickly turned to face Wolfgang, "Well well, I'm meeting old acquaintances all over the place today." He said with a smirk. "You're that blind tocou I met before, so these are your children?" He asked, immediately associating their marks and colors to his own.
"Now now, don't try to pull that disappointed act on them, that's simply a ploy to get them to do what you want." He shook his head, "All parents do it, I'm not surprised that these young ones want some freedom."
