((Deep in a forest, something is stirring. A faint glow can be seen in the distance. As you approach, you realize that it is coming from a tocou. He has a cage of ribs hanging loosely from his torso, and looks terribly frightened. Behind him is a rough looking shelter made of twigs and branches, where it looks like someone has been living for several days. ))
Mvushi had been trying to get some sleep for a long time now, but the uncomfortable set of ribs around his chest kept him from finding a good position. Instead, the fairly small tocou decided to gather food to store for later. There was no telling when it would be safe to go out again, with Tisho around. All he could do was glow as brightly as possible, especially at night, to attract attention. Then maybe, just maybe, he would be able to warn somebody who could help about Tisho.

Klonoa was walking along the path, a dreamy look grazing his face. He was thinking about his mate Rosette, of course, since that was the only thing he ever really thought about these days. He was jerked back to reality as he saw a soft glow a little while away, and decided to follow it. As soon as he saw the frightened Tocou, he immediately rushed over.
"I do say, are you alright?" the legendary asked concernedly.

Twilight entered the forest, and followed the sence of the faint glow. She rushed quickly in the direction, soon being able to see it. A small child tocou, Toari, followed her quietly and curiously. Twlight did sence the power of Toari a while, but didn't spoil the childs fun.
Mitoku also followed from far behind. Having the power of light, she could easily sence his power. Mitoku hurried to the faint power. A glow of light shot out with every step she took, but it then faded away. She was very skilled with her powers, and she was always there to help. She sped past the other two tocou and stopped at the simple shelter. She trotted around the frightened tocou and stopped infront of him. "What happened here?" She asked as her tail slipped around, touching the rib cage around his torso.

Mvushi stared in wonder for a moment at the huge tocou before him before speaking, "I was attacked, sir... A tocou by the name of Tisho, he tried to enslave me. Oh you must help, he's going to try to take over the world!" He said quickly in a panicked voice. If anyone could help, it would be such a large tocou like him.
Mvushi jumped out of surprise when he saw Mitoku, "I was nearly captured, and now I can't even get out of this thing." He said in a frightened tone. "But it's no use, for some reason, they won't break, and I'm too big to slip out of them." There was a reason, in fact. Tisho had managed to use his powers to reinforce the bones before Mvushi escaped, and thus left him with a cage that was nearly indestructible around him. The only thing that could get it off was Tisho or someone else with such powers.

"So who is this person who tried to capture you?" Twlight said as she had come near enough to here. Toari aslo came out from the bushes, curious about what had happened.

Walking along a usual route in a familiar forest was a creature of brown. Well groomed and carefully toned, he carried the confident features and proud swagger of any confident adult male.
Beval was used to walking the paths of this forest on a daily basis and took pride in noticing exactly when the leaves changed color to fall, exactly when the day animals traded places with those of the nights, and exactly when something in the forest was askew.
Today something in the forest was askew.
As Beval pranced along the normally quiet and predictable path, an area of glowing light shone around the bushes and trees. Brows furrowed, Beval took it upon himself to see what was the matter.
Peeking through the bushes, he noticed a small congregation of Tocou where there was normally only grass. Baffled, he emerged from the brush
"What on Earth are all of you doing?" his brow rose quizzically, speaking with a pronounced voice "Having a tea party, are we?"

So many tocous were appearing! What luck, he may even be able to gather them to try to stop Tisho! "His name is Tisho, he's green and black and lives in the mountains." He said, gesturing in the general direction.
Mvushi eyed the newest tocou warily, he wasn't very fond of the sarcastic tone he had. He probably didn't know how serious this whole thing was. "I don't know about the rest of them, but I for one am a refugee." He said calmly. "My name is Mvushi, by the way, and who might you all be?" He asked to the group in general.

Klonoa listened intently, a bitter frown perched upon his face. This Tocou certainly sounded hostile, and the cub sound especially afraid. He glanced warily around at the other Tocous, and sighed.
"Take over the world?" his eyes flashed angrily at the brown Tocou who had wandered in, sensing the sarcasm in his voice,"This is no time for jokes, if you haven't noticed."
He disliked the brown bloke's tone one bit, and a ripple of anger pulsed through his muscular frame. He was a lot bigger than anyone else in the clearing, and he was starting to feel old.

Beval didn't hear any of the conversation prior to this, so when Tisho's name was mentioned barely any interest was sparked up in his mind. So instead of listening intently to what the one called 'Mvushi' was saying, Beval's blue eyes were hopping from one of the gathered to the next, pausing only on the forms of the two adult females gathered, who were the only objects that seemed to capture even an ounce of his attention at the moment.
When Mvushi seemed to be directing conversation to Beval, he was forced to p***k his ears and listen and nodded in a satisfied fashion at his answer. At least one of them had a half way proper reason to be hanging around glowing and whatnot, the others he didn't mind either, company was always acceptable, especially if there were females present and more adults than children.
After planting himself to a sitting position before them he nodded to them all as if in a greeting "A pleasure, my name's Beval" his content expression was soon replaced by the inevitable raising of one of his eyebrows as he looked at the legendary of the group who seemed to be rather unsettled by his presence.
"Slow down pops!" he said with a half chuckle and a smirk "I just wanted to see what the commotion was about, and if you don't mind I think I'll join you for a while to listen in and investigate further" closing his eyes, he tossed his head slightly to flip some of the fur framing his face about and settled himself into a more comfortable position, noting that he probably was going to stay whether they liked it or not. Nontheless, his expression became more and more cheerful as the moments passed, especially more so whenever he took a moment to throw a 'tactful' grin in the direction of the ladies.

Mvushi nodded to each in turn as they said their names, and looked up at Klonoa again. "Yes, take over the world. He's really dangerous, he says that he can use everyone's fears against them, and he's not lying either."
He shivered slightly, partly from being cold, and partly from being afraid for not only his life, but those of the tocous he had grown to know and care about.
He continued to eye Beval out of the corner of his eye, "There is about to be a bit more than commotion if we can't stop Tisho."

Twlight gazed up at the sky, thinking a bit, then turned her head towards Mvushi. "Tisho must also be recruiting too. No one could attempt to take over the world without people to help." She informed Mvushi.
Mitokue glared at Beval from the corner of her eyes then looked back at Mvushi. "And we don't know of all the powers he has yet. We should probablly send someone to go and study him for a bit." She wondered, shooting a glance back at Beval.

Dante had noticed the commotion while he was roaming away from his parents, and had walked over. He tilted his head and looked at Mvushi curiously.
"Who are you talking about?"
I don't have the heart to tell you.
Klonoa couldn't imagine what would happen if Tisho used his worst fears. His worst fear would be losing his beloved Rosette, and he shifted nervously.
"Well, I'll defenitely help you."

Mvushi shook his head at Mitoku, "No, it's too dangerous!" He protested, but he nodded at Twilight. "Yes, I'm sure he is... Before trying to capture me, he offered to let me help..." He said uncertainly.
"Thank you, we'll need all the help we can get." He said, smiling at Klonoa. Already he felt safer, having a legendary tocou on his side.
Mvushi jumped at the appearance of the next tocou, "A tocou named Tisho... Wait, he looks kind of like you." He said suspiciously, eyeing the stitch and bow tie marks he had. "Are you working for him?" He asked, suddenly becoming defensive.

Every hair on Dante's body stood on end when he heard the name Tisho, his lips curling back to reveal werewolf-like fangs. His tail whipped back and forth, his eyes flaming with pure hatred.
"Tisho?!" he yowled angrily, insulted, "That scumbag?! I would never work for him!"
Dante closed his eyes, taking a deep breath and trying to calm down.
"There's a good reason I look like him...
...I'm his brother."
