I just bought this guild and I just wanted to get a couple topics up so if nobody minds this is going to be a thread for every new member to come in and say hello.
I've been on Gaia for awhile but I spend most of my time in the Politics subforum.

Hey, I am...well Totro because Totoro was taken when I made my name. I am really excited about his guild(I just joined) and I have LOTS of friends who also a big fans of Hayao Miyazaki and who are on Gaia! And by the looks of things I think the guild could do with a few more members! I'll go right now and tell them about the guild.

I have only seen a very small bit of Totoro, today is my birthday and my sister gave me most of Hayao Miyazaki's work. That includes Totoro, and I promise I'll see it soon. 3nodding

HI!!!! I am so happy to have been accepted to this guild.
My name is Amanda or Manda aka EGL Goddess. I am a HUGE Miyazaki fan!!! I hope that i will one day I will own them all, I currently own Nausica of the Valley of Wind, Laputa: The Castle in the Sky, Porco Rosso, Spirited Away, and Princess Mononoke. I have seen in addition to the above; My Neighbor Totoro (i would own this but there were complications), Kiki's Delivery Service (had it on VHS but gave to my roommate's daughter), Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro (this is the only Lupin movie miyazaki did, the other movie was nothing in comparison) and let's not forget the series as well. The other studio Ghibli movie that i love that was done by Takahata is Grave of the Fireflies, great movie.
All of the movies mentioned above are EXCELLENT movies. I only wish i could've seen Howl's Moving Castle in the theatre but i couldn't get anyone to drive me 6 hours to NYC. Ummm... I'm 19, born on may first 1986, i live in western NY near niagra falls. I'm very into EGL style. There's a lot i could say but i'll just stop here for now.

Hello, everyone! ^ ^ My name is Marie, I'm a big fan of Miyazaki's artwork and movies.
My favorite is Mononoke Hime out of all of his works I've watched. The plot was very good and the art was amazing, I especially liked the look of the demon boar. It didn't look like the usual demon so I was quite a bit impressed. ^_^
Now I have to think of how many I've watched... ^ ^"
Lets see I've watched Nausica of the Valley of Wind, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, Porco Rosso, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, and The Cat Returns.
I hope to watch more of the works of Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki in the near future... Oh and by the way, I've watched the pre Ghibli film Panda Go Panda! it was so cute. ^ ^
