that BABIES, before ever speaking a single understandable word, are able to communicate with us?

There are five distinct sounds a baby will make and after listening for them in YOUR BABY you'll begin to hear the difference between five separate and very specific noises that mean different things: tired, hungry, uncomfortable, needs to be burped and something else Moon can't remember right now.

And I really DID see this on Oprah.

That was on Oprah awhile ago, actually.

I don't watch the show [I only watch House and Supernatural xDD]
but when I was in the living doing something-or-other someone was
watching Oprah, and that was on it. xD

Yeah, it was, but my friends and I were talking about babies yesterday (and this was after we came back from a concert and all at like one AM) and I told them that, so it was funny.
Back then, at least.
