Early in the morning Yadid woke from his sleep. He yawned and trotted outside quietly, careful not to wake up his sleeping parents. Why was he up so early? Even he didn't know, but he wanted to go outside and think for a while.
He looked around for a second, looking to see if anyone was around. There was nobody that he could see, so he sat and looked at the moon. The sun hadn't begun to rise yet, but the full moon was as beautiful as ever. It had a strange blue glow around it, and for some reason, Yadid felt like something special was supposed to happen to him today.

Tukuku trotted around the area quietly, and unseen. She seemed to make no noise as she trotted arund until she had splashed some water up from a puddle of earlier rain.
The females fur seemed to glow as the sun began to rise. She stopped walking around at sat down and gazed up at the sky, sensing someone nearby. Her ears twitched slightly and she faced the direction of the tocou.

Yadids whole body spun around to face the direction of the sound of a splash. Where he looked was a bright, seemingly glowing tocou. For the first time, he felt a strange knot form in his stomach, and he felt like he wanted to run up to her to get to know her, as well as to run away so that she wouldn't see him. All he knew for sure was that she was beautiful.
Gathering up all his courage, Yadid started slowly walking toward her, his eyes curious and his face showing a hint of a smile. He hoped that she wouldn't mind that he didn't talk, some tocous found it strange. Normally he didn't mind, but for some reason he wanted this girl to like him and not find him odd or difficult to understand.

Tukuku looked at the on coming tocou. She looked at him, and a small smile appeared on her face. She stayed where she sat, instead of running off like she normally would. Though she could speak, Tukuku didn't say anything. She circled him teasingly.

Yadid stopped where he was and looked at the girl curiously. What was she doing? He tilted his head to one side and continued to watch her, pivoting on the spot so that he was always facing her. He was genuinely confused, but that didn't stop him from wanting to get to know this girl.

"Hello." Tukuku said and stopped in her place. She looked back up at the sky, the sun was in full view.

Yadid smiled sheepishly and walked slowly towards her. He nodded at her, wishing he could say something to her. He glanced up at the sky as well, he had barely noticed the sudden appearance of the sun.

Tukuku circled him once more. She noticed that Yadid hadn't spoken yet. "Can you speak?" She asked curiously, though she wouldn't care if he could speak or not,

At her question Yadid shook his head. She didn't sound angry or mean, just curious. For that, he was grateful. He was getting close now, only a few feet away. He stopped and sat down, wondering what he should do next.

Tukuku still smiled. "Oh well~" She said, in a friendly voice. She walked up closer to Yadid, stopping right infront of him.

Yadid smiled happily, glad that she didn't mind. He swished his tail nervously and blushed, not knowing what to say or do, especially since she had gotten so close to him.

Tukuku turned around for a second and blushed nervously. N-now what should I do... She wondered, keeping her thoughts to herself.

Yadid glanced around and saw a flower, all by itself. He went over to it and plucked it gently with his teeth, and carried it over to Tukuku, offering it to her.

Tukuku looked at Yadid and smiled, blushing a bit. "Thank you..." She said quietly, and accepted the flower and grabbed it between her teeth from Yadid.

Yadid blushed as well, playing with the dirt between his toes nervously. He desperately wanted to be able to compliment her, but couldn't. All he could do was wait for her to do something, he was running out of ideas fast.
