"This dungeon was the abandoned ruins of the previous capital city of Darkling Realms that was destroyed by a horde of mutated gorillas about 500 years ago. Bluestar City has remodeled it into a dungeon to train new heroes and new members of the City Guard. It is filled with non-lethal traps, magic, and monsters for people to challenge and pit their skills against. Some heroes adventure here and nowhere else exclusively, though it is considered bad form to keep doing so when you become more powerful. Those that continue to adventure here when it is no longer a challenge are jeered and mocked by other adventurers and get dirty looks from the workers of Bluestar City that have to re-arm the traps and re-stock the monsters they have defeated. One retired mage is known to distribute challenging riddles in the dungeon and will give small cash rewards to those that bring the riddle back with the correct answer and also hides small treasures in the dungeon to be found. The dungeon is about 50 miles outside the city limits of Bluestar City."

Zumi casually flies up to the entrance of the Training Dungeon and softly lands. "Ah, it appears I'm early. I sent invitations out to some of the more promising young heroes. I wonder who'll answer? Somewhere in this dungeon is a cursed gem that must be destroyed. I'll need some help though, even this place can be dangerous." He waits about ten minutes and then starts pacing. "When're they gonna show up?! I'm bored..." Zumi starts breaking boulders apart and throws rocks up as high as he can to smash them apart when they fall back down to him.

*There is the sound of flapping wings as Meefy flies down from the sky and lands in front of Zumi. The wings are black and scaly, they fade away soon after he lands.* "Greetings! Are you Zumi? I got an invitation to come adventure here. Something about a gem?"

"So glad both of you could make it! Meefy, Saiyamike, it is great to meet you both. Our objective is to explore the dungeon and find a cursed gem. Once we have it, we have to figure a way to destroy it! The wizard who puts riddles in here and hides items to find has charged me with this task so I sent a call for aid. He has agreed to pay me and anyone that helps me 200 dollars for doing this. Let's be off!" smile *Zumi opens the entrance to the dungeon and walks in. You are all in a large room that is 100 feet wide and 80 feet long, with a 20 feet high ceiling. Bones, broken weapons, etc litter the ground and you see an empty red treasure chest. There is a door leading East and a hole drilled through the wall leading South.* "Hmm, which way should we go? What do you two say?"

"As for me I say we go through the hole drilled in the south wall. Before we go, what kind of abilities do you all have? I need to know what you two can do before blades are raised and the blood starts flowing. I can fly, shoot energy blasts, have superior strength, heal quickly, and I am very accomplished at fighting hand to hand." *He turns an appraising eye on them both*

"I wanted to go through the eastern door, but the hole in the south wall is just as good. It's not like we have a time limit, we can always come back! As for what we can do that's a fair question. I can fly, have claws and horns, I can breathe a blast of deadly negative energy, and I can shield myself from energy and forceful attacks. I am well trained in fighting with the halberd I carry. What about you, Zumi?" *Looks inquisitively at Zumi.*

"I don't normally like to reveal so much about myself but I feel I can trust you both. I can fight with both hands equally well, have great super strength, can fly, heal quickly, and I fight equally well without weapons and with weapons. The claymore and longsword I carry around aren't for show I assure you!" twisted *Ponders for a moment.* "I agree with Saiyamike, we should investigate the hole in the south first. Let's roll out!" *He heads through the hole in the wall, smashing off a low-hanging jut of rock that's in the way. He turns a corner and almost runs into 3 Energy Orb monsters.* "Look lively, we've got company!" *His hands move in a well-practiced and well-used routine, yanking his weapons out of their sheaths. He slashes with his claymore but misses as the Energy Orb rises above the slash, but stabs it with his longsword.* Energy Orb 1 takes 42 damage, (15 Super Strength, 21 Physical, 6 Weapon), and dies!
((Gotta love Super Strength and a high Physical!)) cool

*Meefy runs up and takes a mighty swing at the Energy Orb, but it manages to zip backwards just in time so that he misses. As Meefy is recovering from his missed swing the Energy Orb hits him with an energy blast for 25 damage.* "Argh! You're gonna pay for that!"

*The Energy Orb shoots a blast of energy at him, but he ducks in a crouch and the blast misses him. Saiyamike powers up, his energy aura flaring and he shoots a ball of red-colored energy at the Energy Orb, it tries to deftly dodge by swerving to the side, but his aim is too good and it slams into the Energy Orb for 37 damage, killing it.* "Ha, there's only one left. What's the hold up, Meefy? Zumi and I got ours down, Energy Orbs are weak monsters, hop to it!"

"Gimme a break, it just got lucky!" *Completely embarassed by the situation he is in he sucks in a huge breath and then breathes out a deadly cone of black negative energy, blasting the Energy Orb for 41 damage! The Energy Orb is completely obliterated.* "Heh, that's my shadow breath. Courtesy of the dragon bloodline I got from my father, Ryu. Let's move on now." sweatdrop

"Your shadow breath is impressive, Meefy! Let me take point." *He starts walking down the tunnel with his two associates in tow, looking for traps, monsters, and most of all treasure! After about 5 minutes of dungeon crawling, err, walking, he comes to a metal door covered in glowing green runes and with a red metal handle.* "Hmph, what do you all think we should do?" ((Once the door is open I want one of you to determine what the room looks like and what monsters if any we run into. Also, some treasure wouldn't make me sad! biggrin ))

"Everyone stand back! I'm gonna try to blast it open." *Meefy uses his shadow breath power to blast the door. Once the dust clears the door still is closed and unmarred.* "Whoa, what is that door made of!"

"Hmm, looks like it's unaffected by energy attacks... Let me try my 'lockpick'." *He takes out a sledgehammer and starts pounding the door until it comes out of the frame and hangs ajar* "There we go!" *Through the door lurk 6 nasty Trolls arguing how they should cook 13 dead dwarves they have in sacks. They see you and say "Fresh meat!"* "Uh oh, we have trouble coming!"

"Women and children first!" *After shouting his warcry he runs up to a Troll and tries to skewer it with his swords. Unfortunately, he stumbles on some rubble on the floor and misses both times. The closest Troll tries to claw him but ne nimbly parries it with a sword.* "Uh oh, I need some backup guys!" sweatdrop
