On the fifth isle of the Five Deaths, Isla Sorna, a scream the world hasn't heard for many eons shrieks across the jungle. A rage that the world has yet to quell wars on, taking down all that stands before it. The beasts that cal host to this flame, this war, of those of the archaic past. The monstrous demons the world tried to forget, the Tyrant Lizards. Human curiousity and idiocy has given these creatures new life. Human interest, has ignited their flames of hatred.
It has been ten years since any simian has set foot on this island. The dinosaurs there have gotten use to the quiet, to the peace only they knew millenia ago. Until one day, yet another foolish attempt of human colonization has been established. The Biosyn Corp. the current owners of the former iNGen company, have established a camp site on Site B. Their mission to the media: observation of the archaic world. Their true intent: continuing the human rape of the natural world.
Log from Michael Artenthrough-
"Upon arrival to the island, we were within a day's time confronted with a monstrous creature. It stood twenty-three feet in the air and was fourty-seven feet long. It had a slightly round square-shaped head that housed perhaps a total of one hundred steak-knive length teeth. It had eyes of fire and rage that stared out at them with the hatred as old as the earth itself. And ontop of everything else, it had blood stained feathers on it's crown of it's head and on it's neck, like the mane of a lion; and there was no doubt it was the lion of the old world. The Alpha Tyrannosaurus stood before us, an ancient force they couldn't help but fear. The battle that followed left many of our scientists dead, and only a lone rocket shot to the beast's heart was what brought it down. Though the cost was great, the prize was invaluable. Immediately after the kill we baegan an autopsy and analyzation of the animal's DNA, and found something in it's genes that is absolutely phenomanal."
The scientists have discovered a flaw in the dinosaurs' genetic make-up, a gene dealing in lysene. It was implanted and manipulated into each dinosaurs DNA strand when the original clones were first introduced into the wild. It was to kill the animals off if ever they escaped the island, for lack of lysene rich foods would cause a shut down in their metabolism and kill them within hours. However, the animals adapted. So did the gene.
Now these scientists want to harvest this gene because of a recent discovery: the gene was related to many genes that are found in the human body. After experimentation upon experimentation, the scientists did something they had never anticipated on doing. They created a dinosaur- human hybrid. The being was of human structure, walking on two legs, motor skills, human neurosystem and brain size, capable of vocalizations and vocabulary, and even a mane of hair; however, it also had dinosaur like features: it's skin was pebbled and tough, it had claws on its "hands" and feet, it had two rows of fangs on both jaws, reptilian eyes, and hightened senses. Due to the experiments nature the scientists named it EXPERIMENT:001--KIRO--, meaning "meeting point". After the success of this. Many other experiments were created from the faulty lysene gene found in the other dinosaur species. However, the first experiment, Kiro, remained their cheif study. Through it's early years of "childhood", the experiment was playful and cooperative with the scientist's whims. Until it's sixth "birthday".
Upon the twilight of dawn, the experiment began to under go a series of epileptic spasms. After a minute of these spasms, the experiment morphed form into a juvenile form of the animal it had gotten its dinosaur dna from: the Alpha Rex. In a rage it destroyed its section of the camp, and escaped into the jungle. After the rampage was over, Experiment Kiro returned to his normal form, unaware of why the event had taken place. In time he realized that he could only morph during the hours of twilight: dawn and dusk. After escaping into the jungle, many of the other experiments followed, all going about their separate ways; all following their primordial instincts back to the other members of their clans. After a year of division however, the experiments slowly became more aware of each others' presence on the island. And, slowly following that, ((because of the unity the animals had through the experiments' abilities to communicate between each other,)) what humans call war broke out between the rexes and spinosaurs, an archaic belligerence that last ended 65 milion years ago, all for control of the island. And to make the conflict on the island worse, more humans had arrived to continue the last's work, and harness this Archaic Belligerence.
