OK Ally, I'll do that and lets see.
This is my own Poem.
I'm a horse of course and I open to any source, I gaze at the evening sky as time goes by, the other horses also tattle when I'm not wearing my saddle, but for the Mares, who cares? my name is Dilly but people call me silly when I say Picca Dilly, I laugh as I soar but when I come back, I'll be happy ever more.

All by me! Fell free to crit or comment..
Never would I have before realized the true and pure power of an even calmed stallion simply going up a hill. To realize that he found it easier to run up rather than walk. Like a shaken baby. A weak and powerless being. I pulled on the reins, pleading him to stop, but they seemed attached to a brick wall and my arms like toothpicks. I stayed mounted upon his broad back, but never would you realize the power of an even calmed stallion until he galloped beneath you for the first time. -- (Snoop is my dog, btw. Her real name is Snoopy)
For lazy Sundays with a long drive to take. For cleaned rooms just so I can ride. For the longing and hypnotic dreams when I look them in the eyes before I can mount. For just an hour to pretend they are real. For staring out on lazy Sundays while ol' Snoop rests and I just wath the land. For everytime I wondered how I would ge there upon their backs or by their sides on a lazy Sunday while ol' Snoop rests forever. Just for dreamers. Just for me.
-- The Arabian Poem.
They prance. They run. They are sillouetted by the rising desert sun. He gallops. They follow in their own rythm. His head; Perfectly carved like rock; Intelligant; Beautiful.
His mane flows behind him; White as fresh snow. His hooves beat upon the sand; His loyals following behind his mane. His forelock drapes down over his eyes and reaches his muzzle.
His tail streams behind him like a great banner; Held up by pride it flows through the air like water from the falls.
One Thousand white Arabians. A band of phantoms and ghosts; Demons and angels.
He flicks his elegant head toward the great Arabian desert sun. Their coats gleam as one under the shimmering sky. Like a magnificant glacier they float across the fickle desert and leave no traces behind. -- To Have A Horse.
4-22-07
And it rained... It rained for one thousand years on an insagnificant farm where the chickens were old and useless. And the pigs were all gone. And the cows were sold. And the goats waundered off; And took the sheep with them; And the collie dog, too.
And it rained for one thousand years. All because. The last to go. Was that one old horse that nobody loved. And God cried. And the angels cried with Him. Tears of joy. Because the horse had come to hevan. And so it rained... For one thousand years... Because God was so happy... To have a pretty little pony that nobody else loved.

More by me!
The Horse Lover's Dream
I rock back and forth in my chair, inspired in awe and wonder, curiosity and a longing to be free. I close my eyes having experienced the life of a wild horse. The surroundings become more clear; dry grass and dusty dirt, the sun so high up in the big piece of white and sky. My windblown mane and my long, wild tail fluttering around in the gusts of untamed wind and breeze. And just because I want to, and just because I can I let my strong, restless hooves carry me upon the air between the ground and me, through the big, wide world. I rock back and forth in my chair and I close my eyes and even though the world around me is loud and busy I calm myself and find inner peace. I close my eyes and picture my shiny, copper coat with splashes of silver tossed into it. My wild mane and restless tail take their places behind me, hanging on as I fly for freedom just because I want to, just because I can. I imagine my sleek, clean cut legs slice through the air out in front of me and out behind me, underneath my free flying, wild tail. I imagine I never grow tiered so I can escape because I can fly on the air that lyes between my hooves and the cold, unworthy ground.
My Wild Dance
I imagine the places that I have been, cold and snowy, warm and muggy, a thick haze set over the land. An image from the past comes upon my stance, invading my peace. I take my place and pure wild anger flashes through my eyes, my thretaning hooves fly as I dance upon my hind legs, I tower above my fear and show it my pain. My tail kisses the dust below me and I stamp on his body. He cowers in fear, showing in his opposite from wild eyes, his murderous, evil eyes only owned by a man. He respects my power and the mind of my own, bows down, and runs away. My wild eyes watch him run, I turn and I don't look back, knowing my place above the man's.
Knowing You're Place
The sun sets, and with doing so the land is hushed, with everything in the day being said and done a small band of beauty and grace lays it'self down to sleep. A mighty stallion, brown in appearance, approaches the top of the hill, to set his gaze among his mares. They begin to settle and their foals lay to rest. A few gusts of cool wind fit into the last light of day, leaves dance around in whispy whirls. The mares and the stallion and the teeny, tiny foals turn to dark shapes as the sun sets from dusk to dark. The land grows quiet, by only the cricket's chirp and the moonlight they rest, innocent souls of beauty and grace. Not even bats waunder out on this warm summer's eve. The rabbits stay huddled in thier little rabbit holes and the squirrels in their lumpy squirrel nests, birds huddle together and an owl flies overhead. With only the moonlight and the cricket's chirp to guide his mares to safety, the stallion, knowing the land is hushed, bows his head to respect the night and sleeps.
Untitled
Snow, perfectly covering the ground in a great white blanket, deadly and blinding it shimmers under the sun in the cold sky. Two bonded mares in a great white feild, one black, and one orange cream. Playing in the cold, icy powder the two bonded play. Rivals approach on the horizon and claim the territory, snow flies as the black crashes down on two small hooves. They dance a dangerous dance, a black and a brown, biting, pawing, just like great beasts. Snow flies above the ground. A cream runs, a gray follows after, angry but playful. A brown and a gray against a black and a cream. The brown cheats, tearing at the black from behind, she hurts and finally limps off, not ready to give up but forced to. Scars and cuts, bruises and scrapes remain as reminders of that cold, icy and violent day.
Forgotten
With fire in their eyes, they dance a deadly dance. Their hooves become weapons, like cannonballs shot from thirteen feet away. Their fear cowers down and rage takes it's place in their bodies, taking control and letting their teeth and their hooves do the talking. For whatever reason they dance about, violently and angrily, they become much more than just a horse. For a moment they forget the rest of the world and fight the other with fire in their eyes, nothing stands in their way, not even the giant fence, nor the sky. Not even the big, wide ocean. They bless the ground just by walking upon it, they sweeten the air when it blows through their mane and reality returns, to leave the other stranded and weak, gasping for the sweetened air of his enemy, yet the blessed ground claims him, A dove lands on the post above his head years later, in hopes to resemble the headstone his un-marked grave was always missing.
