In the millennia before the rise of the Galactic Republic, Kashyyyk was a member world of the Infinite Empire. Its surface was terraformed by the Rakata, resulting in the abnormally large foliage which still covers the planet's surface in modern times. Its ecology can be politely described as a "layered deathtrap", the planet's surface being encompassed in shadow by trees that are many miles high. The dangerous and hostile animals increase closer to the forest floor. Hidden on the planet's surface is a Star Map, another piece in the puzzle of the location of the Star Forge.

A large ship entered the atmosphere of Kashyyyk. She then went into the docking bay of the ship and entered a small ship along with 2 of the maidens. She then flew down into Kashyyyk and headed towards the coordinates Empress Constance told her to go.

Mara-Jade landed her ship on Kashyyyk near the wookies campsite where Empress Constance told her to go. She looked towards the two madiens that followed behind her and then felt a force energy coming towards their way. She didn't know if it was friend or foe but it was quite powerful almost like Andreus and Caleb but abit weaker. "Who could this be?" She replied softly as she headed towards the wookies to speak with them.

Thoven's ship lowered from the orbit. The moon's light shimmered off the silver tint of the ship as it headed down toward the massive trees of the planet. Thoven flew down onto a platform that had moss growing over it. Thoven leaped out of the ship and adjusted his robes and headed down into the thick bush.
Moments after he dropped down to the 'cursed' grounds of the planet. He walked toward a swampish area, that held strong force energy. He tried to reach out with the force to sense everything, but was unable to. He pulled his lightsaber hilt from his belt and continued to trek toward a large ruin. Broken droids, mossed over battle armor, and skeletal remains littered the outside of the ruin. Thoven looked around and slowly walked into the dark entrance of the ruin.

Thoven turned around and looked at her. His light grey eyes seemed to stay on her for a moment to long. He then turned his head looking into the ruin and nodded.
"I am Thoven. Mestre Animus new Inceptor. A pleasure to meet you princess. I was sent to find a relic that the once master Yoda, left here during the clone wars." Thoven then turned around so his back was completely to Mara. He looked over his shoulder and smiled. "You really should keep ready. This place is known for its 'strange' sightings."

Thoven smiled at her outfit and continued into the the ruin. He looked back at her as he examined the runes on the pillars and walls. He came across one that caught his eye.
"My name is Thoven." He turned around toward her and smiled as he felt a draft blow across from him. "Did you feel that?"

"It is most likely a specter of some sort. This place has many dangers. I am sure that the darkside of the force is strong here." He headed deeper into the main chamber. The walls were mossed covered and the air was stale. He turned his attention to a statue of a wookie holding a smaller creature. He walked over to it to examine the statue. "I think that this is Master Yoda."

Mara-Jade nodded to Thoven and said. "Yes in my studies i've seen a similar picture." She then walked beside the boy and looked down to the statue of Master Yoda of the jedi. "Ok maybe the artifact is nearby or in this statue." She replied smartly.

Thoven looked around the area and walked over to the left side of the statue. He traced his hand over the left side, looking for any type of opening. He pulled out a small kit and looked over at Mara.
"Maybe you should watch our backs. I don't want any surprises," he said as he started to use the kit to find a compartment.

Mara looked at Thoven and nodded slightly as she turned around and kept on guard. She knew noone could sneek up on them without them noticing through the force or senses alone so she wondered what he was up to. Did he not want her to see something?

After a few moments or so Thoven heard the soft clicking of the hidden compartment at the base of the statue. He pulled the drawer out slowly. A small opal was within the base. Thoven picked up the stone and looked over at Mara. He smiled as he pocketed the gem and walked over to her.
"So, Princess, tell me about yourself? I'm curious."
