I think this is in the wrong aread but anyway.
On the basis of the RP:
I think the best thing would be to take off where the books left off (which would be after the Lost Colony) Though personaly I'd love to start off after the second or third book because to me thats where the series is best at. But thats just personaly. The best place to start of would be after the 5th book though, that way we can bring in made-ups and go on with a plot and story line without becoming to confused.

Ooh I agree with both of you thats a lovely Idea ^_^ Don't I sound old lol. Hm...Let me think there should also be a new generations of magical teenagers as well thats always a neat mix to throw in or something along those lines.^_^; ^-^

Magical teenagers? o-O; I hope they're not human. xD I mean, sure, Arty has magic now, but I doubt it'll be passed down through genes. xD
Also, even if you were to say half-breed, we've already learned that certain hormones [or something like that] in the human body cancels out magic. Well, maybe not 'cancel', but magic can't work with it. Just look at Opal. -points-

Well if you think about it half-breeds could word. Key word being 'could' and if we did alow that there would have to be major limitations. Its suspected that our dear Butler may posses some powers as Holly (I think it was holly or maybe Root, or foaly) sugjest. I mean, he did take on a troll, and it was even amazing to the fairys who thought he could have a wee bit of magick in him. And Butler dose do a few extrodanary things that an average human (no matter body build) could do or even survive through. He also hurtled himself through a magick barrier door and jumped out a window using only a bed mattres and survived.
Maybe half-breeds would work, but it would have to be very subtile magick, like Butlers, where his is barly there. Root dose talk about fairys who have half human blood in them. Than again it could have just been an insult.

We'Re aLL a BiT mAd HeRe Hm, alright then. Oneesan has also been pounding on me about the whole half-breed debate thing.
But I don't think that Butler is a half-breed. Really, I don't. xD It is said that a few humans do have a little bit of magic in their veins in one of the books, I believe it's the first, but... Butler being a halfbreed? Well, if he does end up being one, then what a twist.
Also, I would wish to say...
That the way the genetic code works, everything is picked at random, no? If that hormone is 'picked' then that halfbreed would hold miniscule to no magical powers at all. Just look at what it did to Opal, once more. -points again-
I also am not very half-breed loving because of another point - humans + fairies does not = love. Fairies practically despise humans, am I right? Okay, things are changing slightly, but I don't think that they're about to go have sex with each other. Sorry for being so blunt, but... yeah. Plus, it'd be... difficult for that to happen, shall I say.
Eh, I'm also non-half-breed prone because, well, it seems a tad Mary-Sueish to have one. But I'm not denying that I've never made up a Mary-Sue original character myself. I mean, whoahhh, last year I was way new to this whole role-playing & writing thing & my first AF oc was a halfbreed daughter of Holly who ran away. Wait, no- tribreed. XD She was mixed with a falcon, an elf, & a human which somehow came about from messing with Foaly's experiments. How whacked is that? XDD Anyway, yeah, she's long dead now, so you don't have to worry about her. =33
Now though I'm very careful about the characters I create, & I'm even more satisfied with them, & love them even more because I make sure that they don't have any Mary/Gary Sue/Stue in them. ^^ I'm MaD, yOu'Re MaD

We could make them exsperiments I like that Idea much better accualy! Well, they could have gens picked out for them, like if they where to recreat Fraud and make her him evil or something along those lines...Hm...That would make a pretty good fanfiction lol...Anyways they could steal DNA from characters from the book, but then there would be the problem in how long it would take them to age...XX; Or...Evil grin. Artemis's Dad (Timothy) Could have found the exsits of the faries, but. He was mind whipe, and his enemy(s) could be Fraud(The fair Kign that was riducle, and banished to the artic where he reamined in anger*They could have been given imortal life and yad yada yad...^_^;

I dislike halfbreeds. As much as I support Arty X Holly, I know it will never happen. Sadly, I suffer from crackshipperitis...
T^T There is no cure.
Anyway, I don't want halfbreeds running amock in the main roleplay. If you want to make your own half-breed roleplay, be my guest. Arty has magic because of fate, and he has trouble getting to it unless he really concentrates or is in a meditative state and something else magical triggers it.
The only magical link I see to humans is the druid race [such as Merlin, Morgan le Fay, and other wizards] But these are not half-breeds. They are born druid and are deeply connected to the planet.
I shall be working on a guide to various creatures and the rare crossings that happen between them. RARE as in, not going to happen unless you give me the best character sheet in the history of character sheets rare...

& that sheet would be greatly appreciated. ^___^
Oh, & go ask Markition [someone who I call/refer to by Milky, Milkyway, or Milky-danna very often] if you want the best character sheet ever. I'm honestly the laziest person in the world with them, but he takes it to another level.

Arty Lol. Well nevr mind then.^_^ Well that could work if he was flung accross time threw the magical barriors...which would increase his magic...Wait a minuet...I don't quite get something at the end of the first book it said that Artemis's worst mistake was keeping Holly alive, because of the evil deeds planned further but he hasnt done anything yet...Maybe Artemiss betays them or makes it look like he dose.
