Objection! (I like saying that) What do you mean, being gay is outside the norm of society?! evil Being gay is natural, normal, not strange. 10% of the world population is gay! And gay people aren't rejected in every society.

Depends on the society, and especially the layer in society. I and most of my friends are in no way against gay people. It's mostly the highly religious and lower layers of society that are against gay people (generally speaking, not wanting to generalize those people). But in my case, in the Netherlands, most people are pro-gay, though there are exceptions.

I am looking at the woeld as a whole where christianity is the #1 religion according to followers of the faith, whether be catholic, baptist, Episcopals, or other variation thereof, also any other religion denouncing homosexuality or gender changes, tolerance is pretty much a subculture still.

Actually, there was a case on a tropical island (I believe it was Cuba) where they were deciding whether to allow gay marriage. The Mormons stepped forth and told the court that they spoke for all religions on the island when they said that they were against gay marriage. Then the next day, the Hinduïsts (I believe) stepped up and said that they were the main religion of the island, with over 50% of the population following them, and they were in favour of gay marraige. Dumb, dumb, dumb, Mormons.

But you see my point in case of fact , where I am not taking just america into the mix, but the global scale in my statement in the rules, as we have members from all over the world on gaia, I have to look at the big picture.

True, but do realize that America is especially non-liberal towards gay people. A lot of European countries are pro-gay.
