Well at church I heard some people say dating (especially for a young age) is wrong. But then I see some of my Christian buddies going out and have bf/gf. Then I wonder: Is dating at a young age wrong or okay? A little help please..?

Yeah- me too - I was not alowed to date until I was 16 - and when I was 16 I still felt (by the nI was pretty much mature) that I was not ready to date. Someone once told me that you have to find Christ first before you boyfirend/girlfreind.......

My biggest suggestion, is when dating, date like you are courting to marry that person, because if you are not seeking to marry someone by dating you are going to run into a lot of problems. Also, when looking for a marriage partner, make sure they can also be a best friend, otherwise you might find yourself in a lot of fights and a possible divorce.

I think there's nothing wrong with a healthy relationship, so long as it has Christian morals in mind.
I think that you should know who you are and what you want to be before you start allowing someone to have such a great influence in your life. And what age are asking about? Cuz like 13 is too young I think XD You're still a kid when you're 13ish, why give that up? Live life while you can! I think 15/16 is an appropriate dating age =)
And I think you should only date people when you LOVE them. Not when you think you like them, not when someone else has a crush on them you so want them first. Only why you like them so strongly that you think, "I could marry that person and be happy" because otherwise you obviously dont know them well enough. Act as if your courting. =)

I go to a christian school and in senoir bible it's called home and family right now we're on dating and the key for xian dating is to 1. set rules and have plans for certain situations 2. Honor God in your relationship 3. Date other Xians (if they become a xian cus you say you won't date them then they changed for the wrong reason (they're are a few exeptions)) 4. Stay out of sexual situation
two things that might help on dates 1. Have a promis ring or necklace 2. Carry a bible. (I know this sound weird but are teacher told us a story about a girl that took her bible on every date and she said alot of times she didn't get a second date. She is now married with 5 kids and # 6 on the way)

First it depends on how old you are. Between 13-and however old is fine too me. I guess its only bad if you go to far!

The whole point of dating has been diluted by today's culture. Instead of searching for someone to marry, people are simply seeking the thrill of being in a relationship or worse, sex. I've seen girls, even christian ones, that always have a boyfreind and are always looking for the next best thing. They obviously do not understand some things.

I can so relate what brad is saying. My older cousin wanted to get married when she was only 17. Since, On one in my family agree with that and thought she was too young. She went to the "next best thing". :/
God promised her a good husband one day but she totally 'forgot'. -_-;
