*bursts out laughing* ur saddle horn is for ur rope so u can wind it around it when u rope a animal. Plus if ur horse starts bucking down a hill or something u can hang on to it to try and keep yourself in the saddle.

what is the uassal bit used for western? I tyed my leassed horse to the fence ans draped the bridal over the saddel horn. I asked if my friend(who came to pick me up and has worked with horses before) if she could make sure that my horsie dident kill himself while I went to the bathroom (not fun during a trail ride) and when I came back my sneaky bud untied himself and rolled on his bridal and snapped his bit! grr...
