So, anyone read death note? I read manga alot and Death note has been my latest choice of reading, I've read al the way to book, 5 i think*? and it has been VERY good reading, so i was wondering if there was anyone here i could discuss it with.
*-if you've read it i right after the part where misa-misa reveales to L and Light that whats his name is the current kira.

Hmm.... I read the first chapter and saw the first episode. ^^;; But I kind of like it, so I might get into it soon.

yay! i would HIGHLY recomend starting to read it! but i can't say anything for the anime... i have never seen it. but i have read a good deal of the manga and so far it was very exiting!! (exept for one patch that was kinda boring... but that only lasted about half a volume then something happened and i was all like "WWWOOOOWWW!!" eek and "NNOO!?!?! that riuned all my theries..."

Woah I was not expecting this hear. I must say...
Best first book ever! Wow. It's creepy and cool all in one and I can't stop reading it. I think I already want the next one. I like the music in that one part where Light is killing off all the murderers at a time. Which in the book is highly creepy.

Music? sorry i just read the manga... i don't know he sounds... unless there is a way to listen to the music on the manga confused but that would just be weird... and slightly impossible... (bored)
but ya.. It is very awsome! I very much like Gothic*, Macabre style reading. and this fits the bill perfectly!
* I'm refering to the style of writing, not gothic kids at school

You can find a fan dub of the show on Youtube. Luckily they don't have a manga with sound bcause that would be expensive.
I know what you mean. In a way this book is like Catch Me if You Can...except not and much more dramatic. It trully amazes me who the characters think of the things and get out of them.
I must say this series has actually got me wanting to buy the books fast.I getting the first book on Sunday. I already have number four.

but ya, it kinda is like catch me if you can... i never thought of that! with the bad guy that thinks of himself as a good guy, then the richeose(sp) lawman trying to bring him in! exept... well i shouldn't say that part... but soething happens that is COMPLETELY different than catch me if you can.
so how far are you inn the storyline?

Tifa7 You can find a fan dub of the show on Youtube. Fan dub? You mean fan sub. There's actually a huge difference there. I'm not sure I would've watched it if all I could find was a fan dub. confused Also it depends on which fan sub you're talking about. The one I found had pretty good quality, the subtitles weren't glitchy, and it even had the episodes as a whole, rather than three separate parts. I'll have to look again and see who was the one that uploaded that version....

yes dub and sub are major diffrence huh? I don't know why but I actually haven't looked into anymore than the first episode.

ya... they always have deathnote... but they never have the one i'm on... like i have read half of... ithink either 5 or 6 and i need to read the rest of it befor i can go on!!! but accualy i have read the next one. its crazy! he gets one of the shinigami to kill himself... lol (wow... after rereading this i get this creapy feeling that some coldharted psychopath wrote it "kill himself.. lol" *shiver* i'm such a bad person)

not tealy... if you think about it it accualy makes total sence! mrgreen
they have the first one because that is the one that would be purchased the most (peole first reading the series) and they would have the last one because it was the most recent one to come out and all of the people that keep up with the series would need it!
