The spirit hybrid sighed looking around the grounds, annoyed and even if he wouldn't admit it some what happy. It was diffrerent from the temple, there were no monks training although there was what seemed to be certain physical games going on, not that he would join them.
He blinked and tilted his fox like ears back, trying to hear if anyone was going to sneak up on him as he stood alone near some trees, his tail flicking behind him patiently as he tried to figure out what to do at this new school...

Niah was strolling through the woods again. He often did so, just because it was really nice in the forests. The little half-phoenix grinned and spread his arms, humming a little to the sky. He just kind of wandered around for a while, not really knowing where he was heading nor really paying attention. He trusted his feet to take him somewhere nice.
In this case, they took him to a root. A well-placed root. A well-placed root at the edge of the woods, one that his feet seemed more than happy to fall over. "And the kisses of the suuuUUUAH!" Niah yelled as he fell, cutting off his song. "Owww...." he groaned , putting a hand on his head as he pushed himself to his knees. Niah blinked and looked up, right into the face of a young-looking boy with fox ears.
Niah blushed and smiled rather sheepishly. "S-sorry!" he said, his voice a little high-pitched, but melodic. "Didn't mean to, um... fall? Ehehe..." Niah put a hand behind his head as he laughed, making him look rather... well, boyish and young. I hope I didn't bother him, Niah thought, a little nervous. Niah never liked bothering others, and it was all the worse when he accidentally stopped himself from making a friend. Hopefully that wouldn't happen here...

The fox hybrid blinked and looked down at the half phoenix and flicked his ears back curiosly. His two different colored eyes looked at him for a while before speaking, "It's ok...if ya ment to fall you would have done it a lot better anyways," he said saying a slight joke as he held out a paw to help out the boy beneath.

"Ehehe.... Thanks!" Niah chirped, taking the other boy's hand. Amoren would be able to feel just how warm the other's skin was - with a body temperature of 120 degrees, it wasn't hard to feel. Niah rose, then brushed himself off. "Umm, thanks!" the half-phoenix said, grinning innocently. "I'm Niah!" he said, offering the hand Amoren had just released with a happy grin.
