Does anybody have any facts on Kyo about why he is the way he is. Or any of them. I learned some things about them, but is there anymore. I feel like I am missing something, I heard one of them tried to commit suicide.
Kyo- For one I heard when he was younger, He got into an arguement with his father about school, and he told his dad he was running away. So his dad told him to take off all his clothes, because he bought it for him. So Kyo stripped and went outside for 3 to 4 hours and then his father apologized about it.
I also heard that before he met the band, he told them how he always wanted to be in a band. So Kaoru stepped down from singing, and let him do it. Because he had bulimia, turret syndrome, and a fatal brain..thing. They thought that he was gonna croacked, but he didn't. He then brought their band towards that vulgar, distubing, dark past.
Is any of that true?

The whole father incident is true, Kyo has thought about suicide when he was younger and as for the random diseases....it's all bs. Kyo is just Kyo. He just has a dark complex mind. 3nodding

Basically, anything extremely odd or mental you hear about Kyo is probably a lie. He's not crazy. He's a performer. A very good one.
No, I'm not saying he's faking anything *'cept for some of that bloodplay*, but he's obviously a good enough performer on stage for people to make up crap about how he is offstage.
I hear he likes to sleep. Not puke in a toilet.

well kyo's name it not really kyo he changed it alot when he changed bands but in diru he kept it kyo as a remembrance to where he came from

As if not already said, Kyo does lie in interviews.
Kyo looks up to the vocalist Kiyoharu in the band Kuroyume.
He was once asked what were the 3 most important things to him. Kyo responded with: 1. Dir en Grey; 2. my voice; 3. my 800-1000 CDs at home
Kyo likes classical music
Kyo likes girls in kimonos. Perhaps this is why he so often wears a furisode.
His likes and dislikes could be summed up with one word: women. "They can bring such wonderful happiness, yet are utterly terrifying." He prefers strong women to passive women.
Kyo once stated that it is okay for people to wear normal clothes at weddings, but the bride should wear a blue fish. Any reference to Mr. Newsman? He has stated he would like to get married and settle down someday.
Kyo likes collecting little figurines and action figures.
He also likes to play videogames and watch anime.
He also likes plums.
Kyo is allergic to flower pollen.
The vast majority of the scratching and cutting and punching himself onstage is real. The puking and what not isn't (He has prepared cups of nastiness behind stage for that).
He gets emotional during his songs sometimes. He'll cry a lot.
Uhhh... Kyo doesn't like to drink. He says it doesn't settle well with his stomach.
Kyo's notorious for passing out or knocking himself out on stage. He's even bleed untill he passed out once or twice. And he's been hospitalized countless times for various injuries. What a show-stopper.
