On the outer terrace connected to Temple Gwa, in Sanderfall, with the soothing sound of the gently crashing waves below, an older man is holding a book and reading a passage to a small crowd of young children and as he said, "...And thus, our God Angstrom, once again revealed his true strength and kept the peace in Anthelos..." He heard one of the children snickering and whispering to another one, so he sighed and walked over ot them while they weren't paying attention. He lifted his staff up and struck the two young boys with a quick smack to the top of their heads, for the sure purpose of getting them to pay attention to him. He then said, "Right then...That should teach you to not pay attention to me during my sermons boys...Alright everyone, we're finished here, your all free to go. Remember, we will meet again next week." The children lept to their feet and cheered running off to play and one of them called out, "Bye Father Noyad!" The man now revealed to be named Noyad, let out a sigh and walked back to the chapel of the temple.

Once inside, he went to his private study and sat down at his desk, which was before a window, facing the ocean, and began writing something in a large leather bound notebook, with a feather pen. He sighed and said, "These children do not seem to understand the might of our lord Angstrom...I guess thats alright, they're all smart children, and I'm sure eventually they'll understand." He stood up from his desk and walked through the intricately designed wooden door, and out into the house of worship. He had his staff with him, and a proud looking Raven perched on his shoulder as he began praying at the alter.

Noyad rose to his feet and turned to face him, his staff in hand he said, "This isn't a playground Ryuuou, its a place of worship...Of course there aren't any treasures in that maze...At least, none that we are worthy enough to wield, Champion and High Priest or not. So I ask that if you do not have a confession to make to me or wish to pray to our mighty lord Angstrom, that you please leave...I must prepare myself for evening services." He reached up and rubbed the bridge of his nose with two of his fingers and then carried a bowl of water to the alter and prayed for a moment and then turned to continue with his chorse.

Angstrom appeared by the edge of the chapel, dressed in normal Attire, that of an elderly man. He looked at the temple, remembering the many things that had happened to this place, and its contructor who had not lived to see its completion. He wandered up the small cobbled road when he saw a hedge that seemingly led straight to the temple, whereas the road appeared longer and more meandering.
he recognised it immediately and continued down the path to the temple.
Good things come to patient ones... he thought to himself as the temple drew nearer.

Angstrom opened the doors and stepped into the main chamber, the wooden pews lined up orderly, and a priest praying at the altar. There was another man there, who had the look of a warrior about him, and was following the priest as he left, chattering about the maze.
Hmm... It appears sanderfall has a new warrior. he looks quite promising... Well, only time will tell. and time is the slayer of all.
he stepped up to the altar and looked at the large statue that sat upon it, smiling his old smile. After a while of marvelling at its craftsmanship, he sat down on the pews to rest his legs for a while.

"Anyway, sorry for buggin' you old man, but Lord Zenmaru needs your help in Occarista." Ryuuou ssaid with a shrug. "Guess it slipped my mind. Sorry, but you gotta say that maze looks pretty cool. anyway, if theres anything else, I forgot about it, so lets go."

"OK, Noyad, lets go-" Ryuuou was stopped in his speech abruptly as he looked at the fighter. " Hey, wait! you're that fighter from before that knocked me out!" He said in awe and shock. "How did you do that? And why did you attack the guards in the first place?"

Noyad could suddenly feel it, this man was not a normal old man. He stood up straight and stepped back, his eyes wide as he said, "Your not a normal elderly man...Theres something about you...Divine power is within you, I know it is..." He suddenly dropped to his knees and began silently praying before saying, "Ryuuou, if I must go to the palace, I shall go...But Good, kind sir...Please...Stay within my temples as long as you like...This house of worship is yours as well..." He stood up straight and instantly ran off towards the front doors.

" OK, I'm right behind you, then," Ryuuou said, eyeing the spot the supernatural fighter dissappeared in. "I need to speak to the king about this mess as soon as possible, or i'm gonna lose my mind."
