The port city of:
Priyal
This city has long been the center of commerce for Asgard. It serves ports for both water and air ships and races of all sorts live in it, peddling their goods. It is the largest city in Asgard, with a large tower in the middle of it called "Heaven's Eye". Heaven's eye is a shrine to the guardian diety of wind, Sann.
Races who inhabit Priyal: All
Guardian Diety: Wind // Sann
The city of entertainment:
Luma
Some call this place paradise, others call it Seizure Haven. This city is more like an extremely large resort/amusement park/casino. While its facilities have quite an impact on one's visit, the beach there is also prized as the best to go in all of Asgard, and it is chock-full of spas and pools and tourist traps. Many honeymooners choose to go to Luma for their lovefest.
Races who inhabit Luma: Though all races come here for amusement, the resort is actually managed mostly by Merrows.
City of Water:
Lockadia
Also referred to as the Scholar City. Lockadia is mostly known for its many schools and its very intelligent inhabitants. Lockadia is also the only place to purchase a familiar, from their facilities there. Lockadia is called the city of water mostly because it is bulit over a portion of Kelynian Lake, and in fact has half the city above the water, and half in it. There is also a large shrine here that is half above ground and half in the lake, which houses the guardian diety of water, Nymia.
Races who inhabit Lockadia: Mostly human, elvish, and half-elves inhabit the upper city, while merpeople, merrows, and some Sea-naga inhabit the lower city. Occasionally a fairy or dragon will make their home in the upper city as well.
Guardian diety: Water // Nymia
Dark City of:
Lutia
Most would see this underground city as 'A place of evil', but it is in fact merely home to shadow-dwellers, such as Dark Goddesses (who aren't actually goddesses, but shadow sprites) vampires, and even the occasional spirit. Some of the darker pixies and shadow fairies also dwell in Lutia, taking it as their haven. Lutia also houses the temple of Eshin, the guardian diety of Shadow.
Races: Shadow sprites, vampires, spirits, dark pixies, shadow fairies.
Guardian Diety: Shadow // Eshin
Hidden Village:
Nemette
A small village of mostly humans, its hidden in the Filithir Forest at the base of the mountains, residing in a small valley. Though seemingly unimportant, Nemette is the only place in Asgard with the legendary Healing Hotsprings. They sell the water to be used all over for medicinal purposes. There are some familiars here, but it is rare to attain one.
Races: Mixed between human, elvish, and Centaur.
Sacred City of:
Telythia
This sacred city in the trees is not the easiest to gain access to. One must first cross through the Filithir forest, through the Lathe Mountains, and through the Twilight Forest (Which is always enveloped in thick fog, and very dangerous to be in) to finally reach the gates of Telythia. In this sacred city is the guardian diety of light, Polaris, and the giant sacred tree of life, Yggdrasil, and the pool of mana water that flows from its base. This city houses many ancient documents and has the only passage to the Sky City.
Side areas: Telythia Forest (Many ruins within the forest, it is usually a gentle place though there is a peril or two if you become lost.)
Races: Mostly fairy, unicorn, Elvish, forest sprites, and the occasional dragon.
Guardian Diety: Light // Polaris
Frozen city:
Snowshire and Jotenheim
Snowshire used to be much larger of a city than it currently is. Centuries ago, frost giants took over the upper half of the city and it became known as Jotenheim, the realm of the frost giants. However, the temple housing the guardian diety of ice, Fenrir, remained in Jotenheim. The lower city, however, it still commonly inhabited and used for many purposes, including of course the snow resort.
Races: All, except fire-based.
Guardian diety: Ice // Fenrir
Molten City:
Emberfall
Only those with hot enough blood and thick skin inhabit this city based on a volcano. Though the volcano is dormant, the guardian diety within, Ifreet, makes it spew fire every now and then. There is also a labyrnth of mines underneath, which most of the citizens scour everyday to unearth fine jewels, metals, and manastones. There are hotsprings here as well, but they do not house the healing properties that those of Nomette have.
Races: Dragons, Centaurs, Golems, Fire sprites, few humans.
Guardian diety: Fire // Ifreet
Ancient City:
Erudia
One of the oldest cities besides Telythia, it is inhabited by many races now, but at first was the main city of humans. It is located spiralling around a small mountain in the west, with a great coliseum on the top of the city. Many great battles and contests are still held here. At the top is also the palace of Asgard, where the various leaders of each race would meet for their reasons. Erudia also houses one of the final guardian dieties, Sigurd.
Side areas: Weeping Forest (Not weeping, but full of weeping willows and ponds. Many centaur inhabit this area in a small village within the trees. Since it is a forest within the plains, it makes a perfect place for the centaur to live. Since the woods are large in length, many humans have also made this their home.
Races: All
Guardian Diety: Final Diety 1 (of 2) Sigurd
Desert City:
Sandveil
A small city on the brink of the Veil Desert. It is filled with mostly sun-loving Naga. The Veil desert was once actually covered in water, as part of the ocean. However, due to a benevolent act of a god, the water was removed from the area. To this day there are many century old ships within the sands, and their treasures as well. Many treasure hunters lose their lives looking for the gold, though some who made it back bathe in luxury.
Races: Mostly Naga, some humans.
Ruins amongst the cliffs:
Windia
Unless you can fly, it would have been very hard to get into this city at the top of the cliffs of the highest mountain, Mt. Pluria. However now, the residents make quite an amount of money giving rides to those without wings for a price. Naturally, this city is mostly compromised of dragons and winged centaurs. One special thing about Windia are the ruins that depict winged humans, and talk about the legendary Sky city. Many ancient-aged storytellers have made their homes in Windia as well. (Hermits on the mountain, get it?) The guardian diety Sann once resided here, but has been moved to Priyal.
Races: Dragons, Winged Centaurs. Fairies hate the winds at night (They'll get blown away =[ )
Village amongst the jungle:
Oolu
Oolu is a Naga village, and a big one at that. In the middle of the jungle, it towers into the canopies of the trees with spiral shapes. A river runs on the outskirts, and into a bog much further out. Though the area around the village is peaceful, if one got lost deep in the jungle they were sure to meet their end.
Races: Naga
Legendary Sky City:
Lunaria
The people of Lunaria rarely visit Asgard. Though they share some of the same races as Asgard, there are exceptions, such as the winged nymphs, who have the power to shapeshift, and winged humans, often confused with angels. It is here that the final guardian spirit, Brynhild, lies asleep in a temple protected by white fire. Legend says that you can only attain brynhild's power after you've gained Sigurd's power. Though the moon-people don't socialize much with those of Asgard, they do in fact look out for them and keep them safe as much as possible. Though rare, moon-people do someitmes come to visit, even remaining in Asgard for long durations sometimes, but never recognized as one from Lunaria. Many spirits also roam Lunaria, most who were valient in life. Its often referred to as 'Valhalla'.
Races: Moonpeople
Guardian Diety: Final Guardian // Brynhild
City of the dead:
Nifleheim
This is the city where evil dwells, where the dead still think they are alive, and where shadows have a mind of their own. It is an unpleasant place to be, and its gates are protected by the guardian beast, Garm. Deep within its dark grounds is the palace of the dead, ruled over by Hel. If you can defeat her, she may reward you with an exquisite familiar.
