Im not sure if it would be a good idea to make another thread but you can delete after you help me.... if you can sweatdrop

I have a friend and she is Christian. Though she doesn't seem to want to have a closer relationship to God or anything. Its almost as if she thinks being saved is being saved and she doesn't have to do anything else.

Im not sure if that is okay. I think Christians should thrive to have a better relationship with him but Im not sure if Im on the right track or anything. Please help me out here!

Another thing....
I have many Christian friends though I have some that aren't Christian.
One of my friends that I am focusing on doesn't go to my school and I don't see her much. She knows about God I think because in Primary school she was friends with me and another Christian girl and we most likely influcenced her in some way.

Im not sure how I can tell her more about God without pressureing her or anything...
Im not sure if I have made this question too clear but please help me if you can. Thank you.

For your friend who believes that she is saved and yet does not pursue her faith, she is in danger of loosing it. Our walk with Christ is a constant one, if you are not attempting to learn more about God or communicating with Him then you will backslide into sin and be torn from Him before you know it. Let me know if you need some verses, or search www.biblegateway.com for some. I think there might be a couple in Romans now that I think about it. If you talk to her about it, make sure you let her know to start with that you are concerned about her and care a lot about her, before you tell here about what needs to be done to be saved, repentance is a continual process, not a one time deal. But most of all keep praying for her, pray for her heart to be soft and her hears and mind to be open. I will be praying for you and your friends as well.

Out reach is not a specialty of mine so what I say is about 90% theory/possible wisdom, but as for your friend you don't see often, when you two have time to talk ask her questions to help catch up with old times, and after one or too ask her what does she believe in the way of religion/spirituality etc. Before you do this I suggest praying for guidance and ask God to talk through you in that time. You can ask simple questions from what she asks you, answer any of her questions, then tell her about your experiences and what you have learned. It may be hard to do, but I God is calling you to do it, then try your best.

I hope this helps, let me know if you want me to clarify anything.

This may be a bad place to post this, but I really like your God and Man pic, BugBoots. I remember having to create something exactly like that in a Powerpoint I was doing for the 3rd and 4th graders at my church and they loved it smile .

You're mos def on the right track, my dear friend! Christians should CONSTANTLY be thriving for a better relationship with God. You should thirst for it; you should want it all the time.

I think you should spend more time with both of your friends. The first friend needs to know that Christianity is more than just believing in Christ. That's the first step, yes. But Christianity isn't a religion - it's a relationship with God. You need Christ to have have the connection with God, but just because you have a connection doesn't mean you have the relationship. When you do have a relationship, you should ALWAYS be trying to have a better realtionship with God, He's supposed to be your best friend, right?

As for your second friend, you should invite her to some events at your church. I'm assuming you're a youth, and I'm assuming that you have a youth group? My youth group always has things like movie night at the church. This is so that we can invite our non-christian friends into a church without them feeling pressured to believe. The last thing you want is a person feeling pressured to believe by the wrong person (in other words - Only God should be pressuring someone in that way, otherwise it's not the choice the heart wants to make).
So maybe you should invite yar friends, both of them, to something like this?

I dunno if I helped, but it's my job as yar sister in Christ to try, yeah? Have a good one!

Well for the first one i can understand! The same thing id kinda happening with me right now. My friend said she was saved but isnt acting like it. I think you should confront her and say something like " Not to affend you or anything but being saved is a more than just saying you are. You have to read the bible, not swear, go to church,.... all that. But say it nicly and say im just trying to be a good friend and a good christian, so dont take it offensivly.

theres a lot of really good advice here and I agree with it all.

Prayer is not to be forgotten, for who can better save and minister to a child than God?
the miraculous thing about God and His love letter is when we confront Him we will be convicted of our sins, God knows us and He will tell us when we need to walk closer to Him. Many times christians are choosing not to listen to God and that is when we can support our brothers and sisters and kindly pulling there hands from covering their eyes.
