biggrin Hey I was just wondering if anyone had seen "One Night with the King"
It is a movie of the story of Esther, Queen of Persia.
I loved it. It was a great movie. biggrin

I've heard wonderful things about it and will likely rent it over my spring break in a few weeks...I plan to catch up on alot of films that week.

OOH!! SOO GOOD!! i really recommend it!
it really focuses a lot on esther's relationship with the king- hence the name One Night with the King- but it actually talks more about God than a lot of other movies pertaining to Esther!!

and for london chick.. i like ouran high school host club too! yay

SOO GOOD!! i really recommend it! it really focuses a lot on esther's relationship with the king- hence the name One Night with the King- but it actually talks more about God than a lot of other movies pertaining to Esther!! soo nicce^^ and for london chick.. i like ouran high school host club too! yay The movie is definantly one of my new favorites. Also, Ouran High School Host Club (such a long name) does rock!

HOw about the new film, Amazing Grace?
I heard it was incredible...I'm thinking of going to see it all by my lonesome tomorrow night after work. it feels like God is calling me to it for something...I just can't get out of wanting to go see it. And I don't even want to take people with me, I just want to sit in the theater with my soda and be amazed....

Both movies sound great and are movies I would love to see, but I dont think our theater is showing Amazing Grace, not sure about the other one has it been out for a while?

And I don't even want to take people with me, I just want to sit in the theater with my soda and be amazed.... you will love it. it's seriously the best Christian film i've seen. then again, the last i saw was Facing the Giants, so that's not hard. but yeah. this is a well-done movie and Wilberforce's Christianity is not lost. he's not just "Hollywood Christian", he's portrayed as a true believer, which is pretty sweet.

I saw One Night with the King, but I though the story was seriously over-hollywoodifyed. I didn't really like it all that much.
I really, really have been wanting to see Amansing Grace though.
