Oh hell, there are hundreds.
I don't know how old you are, but if you are over 10, I would stay away from anything with the word 'Pony' in the title. xd Horse books for children are just that - for children.
Here are a few of my personal faves in my collection:
This one is great. It comes in two versions - the little one that just focuses on riding, and the ultra-huge one that has the riding section, plus breeds, care, and an amazing tack guide.
Easily the best book on breeds. 3nodding
Also, anything by Cherry Hill is a good bet, she uses lots of helpful pictures. Any horse books by DK publishing are also very helpful.

I have that one! It's mightly old, but a very good read, nonetheless. I love her little stories. Actually, I believe that was one of my very first horse books.

Hmmm I have a few health care books sitting on my boolshelf, one I keep in my box out at the barn is "The Horse's Health Bible" by Colin Volgel. Its a great qiuck reference guide of common veterinary problems.
I keep it handy in mytack box incase something was to happen... (And I've seen horrible things happen...) but there are tons of horse books on health, care, nutrition, riding etc. check your school and public library and local book stores and you'll find lots of horse books full of information.

Cool and I saw terrible things happen too and I borrow horse books at the Library but not that often since I have my own horse books at home. I have horse care books and horse breed books too.
