I was wondering if anyone has any Ebay horror stories. Do you have any tips for other people that buy or sell on there?

Well, I do a lot of selling on Ebay. Hmm..let me rephrase that. I use to do a lot of selling on ebay, but business doesn't seem to be as good lately. I sell things like anime, manga, fiction books, and toys.

One of the bad things that I can think about on ebay is the fact that I purchased a mini digital camera from a guy. It came with instructions which made no sense to me, but I figured out how to download the software and how to work the camera. The camera worked for as long as the guys return policy covered it. That would be a week. Now the camera will not turn on or anything and I cannot get my money back or a new camera crying

Another thing that gets me about Ebay is the fact that so many shady people are out there. Some girl bid on Vol. 1 of Naruto that I was selling. She was the winning bidder and after the auction was over I sent an invoice.

Weeks went by and I didn't hear anything from her so I sent another invoice to her just in case the first one was lost. Again no answer from her. After a month and a half I reported it to ebay. They told me that I would have to send her another invoice before they could do anything about it and that would take up to a month.

I don't want to scare anyone away from Ebay because I love it. You meet really nice people on there. Some folks are bad, but there are plenty of good ones. The best thing to do is to look at their feedback. Bad feedback means stay away from them. If it's good, then you can bid on their items.

I don't know if I can give out my ebay user id in guild, but if people want it they can send me a message.

I would love to use Ebay but I would buy so much junk that I really dont need which is kind of bad since I should be on a budget!

best thing I ever bought was a kick a** pair of black cowboy boots. Sadly they broke. worst story is I got hacked on an account an dI almost got banned for making false bids.
