The Death Note movie is terrible. However 松山ケンイチ, the person
who plays L, is really, really pretty [in my opinion]. I saw the second
one a little while ago, and it was alot better, with an ending completely
different from the manga.
Even though I didn't like the movies, I still preordered the box set
last month. xDD I haven't heard of the other movie you mentioned,
so yeah I guess you should go with Death Note.
