In my opinion, the movie and book for the first Jurassic were equal. There were cool parts in the book that didnt happen in the movie, and cool parts in the movie that didnt happen in the book.
The Lost World on the other hand, was way more than odd. In the book, half the characters dont have the same name, and the story is ENTIRELY different than the movie. But, i like the book, and i like the movie, so, whats your opinion?

((OOC)) CLEAR! *Applies paddles to thread*
The novel was good, and the movie left out a lot. I can't complain either way. JPII and the novel didn't seem to connect very well, and JPIII seemed to pick up stuff that the first JP missed from the book (the Pteradactyls, for example). That part was what really struck me the most. I liked JPIII better than II, and I better than III, though. Guess why. razz

(down Malcom down) But yeah, it makes sense that they'd take what they left out and make anothe r movie outta it and add a new plot and such

I want to strangle Malcom every time I see him. "Shut up. For five seconds - just... shut up."

Ronin_Warrior15 I like the Lost World book better than the movie, but with Jurassic Park I agree with kiro. i probably would have the same view, but, i saw the movie before the book, so... i think thats why i think they both pretty god. but, i do like the detail chrichton put in lost world.

Ronin_Warrior15 I thought the LW could have been better i think spielberg was trying to keep the old lost world, the stop-motion willis o'brian one, and put it in this one. in the old one, an apatosaurus is brought to the mainland of england from a plateu in south america. it escapes and roams free(( the rex in san diego))
