Have any games other than the Zelda games that you like? Recomend them here!
In your recomendation, be sure to include the name of the game, rating, platform, genre, and a little bit about the game. Also include why you like the game.
Guild and Gaia TOS rules apply as always.

Fire Emblem is cool. Yeah, strategy games can be fun, and that's a good one.

Ooh, but one of the best Gamecube games ever is of course, Super Smash Brothers Melee, not only because it gives you the chance to smash your foes as hard and terribly as you may please, but you can play as Link (MY best character, duh), Zelda/Sheik or Ganondorf from the LoZ series. The game also features lots of other characters from different games, like Mario, StarFox, and even Mr. Game and Watch.

Also, they're coming out with a new Wii version of SSB: Super Smash Brothers Brawl!!! It features Twilight Princess Link and I think it also features TP Zelda!!! (As well as other classic characters that will be joining in).

Check them out!!

One of the first games I got for my Gamecube was Starfox Adventures.
It's amazing, the graphics are incredible, combat is very similar to a Zelda game, and the storyline is great. My only gripe is that it's short. Its been out for a few years and is rated T.
In the game you play primarily as Fox McCloud, with your sidekick Tricky, you traverse Dinosaur Planet in search of four spell stones and the eight Krazoa spirits. You'll occasionally fly Arwing missions to other parts of the planet. Unlike previous Starfox Games, Fox uses a magic staff to ward off enemies and solve puzzles. Overall, Starfox Adventures is an excellent game that any Zelda fan would enjoy.

Another noteworthy game is Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for the gamecube. Its rated E.
Its an RPG and boasts unique graphics and about 50 hours of gameplay. You play as Mario and travel through a different part of the Mushroom Kingdom: Rouge Port and its surrounding lands, collecting the seven Crystal Stars. Combat is turn based (Mario attacks, your partner attacks, enemies attack etc.) and simple. Out in the field, you'll interact with interesting characters, solve puzzles and obtain items, you will also see your enemies in and around the field. Coming into contact with them will start a battle.
Throughout the game you will have up to seven party members, each with their own set of abilities in battle and out in the field.
No Gamecube collection is complete without Paper Mario: The Thousand Year door. I highly recommend it.

(If anyone ever looks at this thread still)

All of these games can be bought for less than $20

Ico - PS2 - puzzle/adventure - Amazing; most emotionally moving story in a video game I've seen.

Shadow of the Colossus - (prequel to Ico) - PS2 - climb up and kill 18 giant colossi - beautifully artistic and fun

Okami - PS2 - action adventure/puzzle - beautiful game that looks like a Japanese water color painting- plays a lot like LoZ

Katamari Damacy - PS2 - roll up stuff - The insanity and simple fun of the game will bring the most depressed person to absolute pleasure with the songs alone! (also - We <3 Katamari and Beautiful Katamari)

Psychonauts - PS2, Xbox, 360 download - fun and hilarious platform psychic adventure with the most quotable lines in any game ever.

(more recommendations that no one will ever see)

For gamers who aren't as broke:

Portal - 360, PS3, PC - puzzle - cool puzzles mixed with a hilarious passive aggressive computer, the game has established itself as a cult classic.

Mass Effect - 360 - RPG shooter - great voice acting and a fun game are topped with the most gripping story in a game (beats most movies I've seen too), Mass Effect is probably the most worthwhile game you can buy for your 360.

If anyone needs help finding a cool/fun game, or just want to talk about gaming, feel free to PM me.
