 A tiny village tucked away in the northern most lands of Aikou, Thistle is one still commonly visited. Although it snows year round in this area, the tourists are not swayed, be they here for the skiing, festivals, scenery, or impressive ice Pokemon. The village is also home to the Thistle Gym--run by the Ice Queen herself, Koraseru--and a Pokemon Contest Arena. The gym and arena are the only modern buildings in Thistle, all else constructed of sturdy logs and clay. None know if any streets exist here, as the ground is always covered in fresh snow. You'd best bring more than a scarf if you plan on visiting, unless of course you like being a life-sized ice sculpture.(Still under construction, but open for RPs.)

Koraseru smiled, although the expression did not warm her eyes in the least. Froslass, her loyal snow-ghost Pokemon, mimicked the smile. A snapshot was taken of the girl and Pokemon, the flash making even the snow seem dingy in color. With a wave, the journalist departed, scribbling in his notebook.
Koraseru sighed, Froslass doing likewise. "The Winter doesn't scare off reporters, but somehow keeps trainers at bay..." The pairs' shoulders slumped, both thoroughly disheartened by the lack of challenges to her gym. She brushed a solitary snowflake from the end of her nose as she gazed somberly at the gym doors. She couldn't even remember the last time a worthy opponent had opened them.

Azalreia let out her Magnemite, Piplup, and Aron. "Rrrrrrrrrggghhh... LET ME IN!" she yelled at the top of her lungs. She looked around for someone to fight in the meantime. She saw someone by the front door. "You!" she said impatiently, "I challenge you to a battle!"
((This is my understanding of what you said. If not, could you explain it again?))

Koraseru turned to the trainer with a surprised expression, Froslass sharing the same look as she peeked from behind the Gym Leader. Koraseru glanced at Azalreia's Pokemon with a small smirk. "Challenge me? Very well, as Thistle City's Leader, I accept."
((Yeah, that works. We use the RP for challenging since people don't just appear in gyms out of no where. You can move to the gym after your reply here.))

Azalreia was leaving Quartzite, almost halfway to Amaranth Isle, when suddenly it struck her between the eyes like a bullet. She had forgotten to seek out Regice in Thistle. As fast as she could, she rode her bike until she was in a less cloudy area, then took off on Talon over to the mountainous area. However, it was obvious the cold was getting to the Skarmory, and soon it was almost motionless. Azalreia got worried; she shook Skarmory gently. No response. She checked for a heartbeat. There it was, but it was very weak. She instantly returned it and rushed to the Pokemon Center, muttering along the way: "There goes my biggest advantage in the fight. But I guess this is no time to worry about that!" she said as the door slided open.
