1)follow the gaia tos rolleyes
2)no spamming please or strecthing the page
3)please keep the thread pg-13
4)no cursing please
5)please no godmodding
6)please no advertising, your sigs are fine but if it takes a whole lot of space, dont bother attching your sig here
7)no legendaries
cool only 6 pokemon max. are allowed here per trainer
9) LITERATE posts please, no one-liners .... except out of character chat

if anybody breaks the rules, they will get a warning for each one, if you get 3 warnings, you will be banned from this thread or you will get kicked out of the town xp
Also, consider the rules in the Amaranth Gym the same as the ones here in Amaranth Island.

Celebrations/Events
The Amaranth Island Yearly Anniversary
Every year, the people of the Amaranth Island celebrates an anniversary for the past years that the Island was protected from evil and have been given luck. This occasion usually occurs the day after a New Year. Also, the people celebrate the fire pokemon because they represent the Island. (as well as the other fire gyms and islands xp ) They give entertainment, a feast, and more.

*Nights stood at the front of the ship, this new island was perfect, aside from the heaving great volcaino that was... well to most peole anyway. Nights looked in anticipation as the thought of all the fire pokemon that awaited her. Fire was one of her specialties and she loved fire pokemon a lot. Her torchic hopped up and down beside her sencing the relaxing atmosphere of the dormant volcaino* Torchic!! you'll fall over board if you jump about like that! *Nights swooped up her over eger pokemon into her arms and was rewarded with a little chirp as he nuzled into her* How soon will we get into port skipper? *the skipper grunted as the port fast spead from the horison to infront of them and then busied himself with securing the boat to the dock, Nights steped onto the dock and took a deep breath of the island air, she could almost taste the volcanic rock, Torchic wiggeld from her arms and hopped about exicetedly, this place kinda felt like home*

(( xd Since you don't have a profile-thing to fill out, I'm just posting her Trainer Card.)) Kokoro hummed a cheery tune to herself as she skipped in a far too merry fashion through the town. She'd only arrived to the islands a short while ago, but she just couldn't wait for the festivities. Her Pachirisu seemed to share similar feelings, squeaking happily as it chased random bits of dust floating in the air.

*Nights wanderd up the town browsing in and out of shops, there seemed to be some kind of festival going on. Her and her torchic wandered in and out of shops buying a little refreshment as they went. The island sold really nice drinks, the best one of which took its name from the volcaino and was red and extreamly fizzy, Nights happy gluged the bottle as Torchic nibbled on the treats. Nights decided to rest in the local pokemon center*

I guess its festival time!
Tohri dressed herself as she got ready for the Amaranth Island Yearly Anniversary. She wore her usual red shirt, red sweat jacket, and a short white skirt. She put on a red ribbon on her hair then took out a small red stone pendant from a drawer. It was a ruby necklace. She wore it around her neck when suddenly she jumped up to find her Arcanine was nuzzling her. "Aero! C'mon, its time for the festival!". Tohri walked out of her house with Arcanine. They went to the center of town where the Festival was held.

*Nights sat on the sofa flicking through her pokedex, she was doing ok but she needed more pokemon to complete it. Torchic chirped happily as she tosed him a treat, she'd need to get some more soon, it was like her pokemon kept her permantly out of cash; they were bottomless pits!* eh I guess i'll just go buy some more then... honestly you guys eat so much. I do need to buy some pokeballs you know! And you need some vits, and then some antidotes and ahhhhhh I'm too poor to keep you guys in the lap of luxiry like this! * Torchic turned his head to the side as if inquireing to his trainers outburst. Nights sighed and wandered out of the center with torchic hoping merrily behind*

Kokoro was in the process of purchasing a sweet snack when Pachirisu let out a thrilled squeak, leaping from her head. "Ah! Pachirisu!" she called to the white and pink squirrel. The little pokemon ignored her, darting through the crowd to an unknown destination. When Kokoro caught up to Pachirisu, she found it dancing delightedly around a Torchic and its Trainer (<---Nights). It clearly wanted to play with the small fire bird, and sighed unhappily as Kokoro scooped it up.
"Sorry! He got away from me," Kokor aopologized, bowing slightly. "Hope he didn't scare your Torchic."

((ooc: i have no idea where to post this so erm here )) Hey thats ok. My Torchic is pretty wild still i'd take more than a playfull pokemon to scare him! He stood up to a pokemon twice his hight and level once! *she beamed happily* whats say we let them play together? Torchic could do with some company. Im Nights by the way, nice to meet you! *She smiled and offerd her hand in greeting as tochic bonced up and down chirping happily*

Kokoro set Pachirisu back on the ground, the squirrel promptly launching itself at Torchic in an over enthusiastic hug. She giggled, taking Nights' hand and shaking it. "He doesn't get to play with Pokemon much, so thank you." She nodded her head politely. "And it's nice to meet you, Nights. I'm Kokoro. Are you hear for the festival or the gym?"

Its a pleasure to make you aquantance Kokoro *Nights said smiling warmly as Torchic chirped and began to initiate a tag type game with Parchirisu* Torchic is the youngest of my pokemon so the others get a little anoyed at his constant want to play. Its great to let pokemon play together and i get a brake too! *Nights laughed a little* I didn't actually know there was a festival here, I'm collecting gym badges really my aim is to get them all! Are you from round here? *Nights was intreged at the mention of a festival as little spot of relaxation always made a battle run smoother*

Kokoro laughed, watching the two Pokemon. "The same is for Pachirisu. All my other Pokemon are too serious for his level of play." She turned back to Nights. "I'm visiting here for both the festival and to earn another badge. But I don't think the gym leader is going to be in until after the festival." She smiled brightly. "If you have time later, care to have a warm-up battle before we both challenge the gym?"

You bet! I love a good battle but I wont go easy. *Nights grinned* I feel sorry for Torchic really the only one of my team that plays with him is my Charisard and he is well... how do you put it? A tad overprotective... *Nights sighed* so whats this festival like? Do you want to go get something to eat? The volcaino soda they do here is the best! *Nights Smiled as Torchic hoped over at the mention of eating*
