 Timberland Metropolis: A town filled with many different types of trees. It's on the outskirts of the largest forest in Angorb, which means there tends to be many bug and grass type-trainers around. A large timber-cutting company generally cuts in the forest here, which sometimes causes uproars with wild pokemon.
- Pokemon that can be seen in Timberland Metropolis:
Meowth, Snubbul, Spearow, Nidoran (M), Nidoran (F), Mankey, Natu, Sunkern, Slakoth. (lvls. 4-9)
Timberland Forest: The largest forest located on all of Angorb, this area contains many different kinds of Pokemon. The most common are bugs and grass but, due to the rare appearance of a thunder-type Pokemon, huge flash-fires often occur in the dry seasons. Grass Stones seem to originate from here.
Pokemon that can be found in Timberland Forest:
Caterpie, Oddish, Spinarak, Wurmple, Weedle, Nincada, Shroomish, Bellsprout, Seedot, Cacnea, Roselia, Exeggcute, Aipom, Mankey, Gloom, Electrike. (lvls. 2-10)

Kathan begins his walk toward timberland metropolis when he spotted something. A bruised, shaky, and slightly malnourished nidoran running from something, behind it he saw three boys with sticks chasing to poke at it. Curious Kathan decided to watch what happened next.
"Momma says these things eat their own poo, she said it was something like coperophagy or something" "Nasty" yelled out another boy, as he threw the next rock.
Kathan also noted in the side of the nidoran, markings of a definite horn as though this pokemon at one point survived an encounter with another horned pokemon. Intrigued Kathan drew nearer picking up a nearby tree branch, and at this point was behind the boys without their detection, and smacked them upside the back of their heads. "Ow what did you do that for Mister" they said as they turned arround and noticed Kathan smiling menacingly. "So you like to pick on things weaker than yourself, Imagine that I do too..." The three boys managed to make some distance between themselves and kathan, then the boys in the middle and right nudged the boy on the left who withdrew a pokeball, "Come out Pidgey" and the boy unleashed a pidgey.
"So you want to put up a fight well I suppose I am up for a little entertainment." Kathan pulled out two pokeballs, "But first" He tossed the one in his left hand toward the injured nidoran, and unleashed the bulbasaur from the other.

"It looks like a weak grass type, Pidgey use tackle." yelled a boy seemingly reassured after looking at his opponent. The pidgey rose up in the air, and prepared to airtackle bulbasaur "Bulbasaur, when it comes in range, tackle it." Ordered Kathan, as he picked up his new pokemon "As for you" Kathan looks at the pokeball while reaching in his backpack for a potion "You will be joining him shortly" Kathan then administered the potion to nidoran female. The pidgey flew violently to the ground in an attempt to tackle the bulbasaur, bulbasaur jumped to the air in an attempt to tackle the pidgey, in seemingly no time the two were wrestling to see who would come on top, only for it to be the Pidgey.

"Bulbasaur we are going to do this again, and again until you succeed. Keep using tackle, I am sending out a reinforcement." Kathan tossed out his second pokemon revealing the nidoran♀ with most of its injuries healed except for the horn injury in it's right shoulder. "Nidoran you will assist Bulbasaur by using a tail whip to keep the pidgey near the ground." The Nidoran creeped near the battle, but at the site of the two pokemon tackling each other moved back to cower toward Kathan, who at this point was furious. "You will do as I tell you. Disobedience is not an option with me you fur ball." Kathan gave the nidoran a furious kick, elevating it near Bulbasaur. The Bulbasaur again manages to tackle the pidgey to the ground, and keep it in place.

"This guy isnt fighting fair!" yelled the boys, "If i recall correctly you weren't fighting fair either. So tell me boys how does it feel to not have things in your favor?" "You jerk!" "Heh, its been a long time since I recieved that kind of recognition." "Pidgey, if you can break free from the tackle, and attack the nidoran."
"Nidoran, scratch at the beak of the pidgey, while bulbasaur keeps it tackled to the ground, dont forget what happened last time when you disobeyed me." The pidgey struggles to get airborn, but under the strain cannot, and the nidoran scratches its face, while the bulbasaur jumps up for another tackle causing the pidgey to ultimatly faint.

Since you were the ones who drew pokemon first, I assume you know the natural consequence of a trainer battle, now fork over your lunch money, and I will be on my merry way.

"hmph, this it?" said Kathan as he took the last yen. He then reflects on who he was fighting "I guess it couldnt have been helped" he thought to himself then shrugged, "I should go to a pokemon center while I am in the timberland metropolis then head on out to cherry blossom city." Kathan walks not too far before reaching the pokemon center, there he saw the usual generic nurse joy, and after the pokemon were healed, he decided to inquire about the horn injury on the Nidoran♀ shoulder.
"Excuse me, Miss Joy, could you tell me what caused this injury right here."
"That appears to be a horn injury in a commonly well defended area. Judging by the size and shape probably a nidoran of the male species."
"I see, so in all likelyhood this pokemon let its guard down, and got rammed by a male nidoran."
(No wonder what it was so timit, ahh well, I suppose I will have to break it from that habit.)
"Thank you Miss Joy." said kathan as he began to walk toward Cherry Blossom city.
"It is hard to believe, me a trainer again." Shrug "Maybe I will be able to pay them back for what they did to me some day soon. Heh, of course that could me wishful thinking on my part. In any event, I have got a job to do." Kathan shrugs and began moving toward cherry blossom city first going through the timberland forest whereupon he encountered a caterpie. I really dont have time for this, and the easy ones arent very thrilling, but I suppose it could be a start to get it off its cowardly fits.
"Nidoran come out" yelled Kathan, and after a small poof, the nidoran popped out of the pokeball. "Scratch that caterpie" the nidoran began to get closer to the caterpie, again running from it as she was about to scratch it

"Bulbasaur come out" ordered Kathan, "Tackle Nidoran♀ for disobedience" and with that the bulbasaur thrust its weight atop of nidoran, knocking it back some distance.

"Now Nidoran I am going to ask you again, scratch the caterpie or you will be hit again by bulbasaur. Which do you think will hurt more a tiny insect or something that weighs 15 pounds it doesnt take a rocket scientist." The Nidoran Regained its feet, and charged at the caterpie scratching. The wild caterpie attempted to coil te legs of the Nidoran together with a string shot but to no avail. "Keep it up Nidoran" and the nidoran kept scratching furiously at her opponent. "Hopefully she will now obey my orders from this point on. Withdraw bulbasaur"

"Nidoran finish this up" the nidoran laid down one final scratch on the caterpie, before it fainted. "Good now come back Nidoran" and the nidoran was returned to the pokeball.
Kathan continued walking until he reached cherry blossom city.
