Pokemon Diamond RPG, V.4!Information Page
This is infact, a remake of two versions of Pokemon Diamond. The first one reached 181 pages which was owned by Feline Oddity, and the second 116 pages owned by muah. This was before it was in a guild, which it has never been in.
Pokemon Diamond is one of the most original Pokemon roleplay you will find on Gaia. Search for others, and I'm sure none will compare (because I've allready searched :] ) . But there are a few things you must read before you can join, and read carefully!
Also note that, you do not need someone else too roleplay with too be here. You're posts could be you just roleplaying by yourself with your pokemon, training, ect. But don't feel like you can't roleplay with a friend!
Rules:
arrow No Godmodding! (You cannot win every trainer battle, comon, that's just not fair. You're also not the only 'hero' in the story, so don't roleplay like everything revolves around you.)
arrow No copying this roleplay! (It took me time too make this, don't just use copy and paste and make it as your own. I have my spies looking out, so don't think you'll get away with it!)
arrow Must be literate. (Most important. I don't want people running around typing 'lyke dis. cooz eets anoying.' Mispelled words are okay, I do it all the time, but try too do your best!
arrow Be active. (You must post every once in a while, I mean, what's fun in a roleplay if there's no one posting? If you don't post in a certain amount of time you will be deleted. You can also rejoin, but all your information will be started over.)
arrow No warping around the map. You can't be in Neophyte town then next post be in Cherryblossom. Post you walking there, and as time passes IRL it will in the RP too.

Pokemon Paths:
Elite Four: Ever wanted too become part of the hardest team too beat in the land? If so, this path is for you. Four people from anywhere around the world will attempt too hold their strength against various trainers from around the world, proventing them from becoming champion. Elite Four is probably harder too become then the champion itself.
Ability: x4 EXP in battles | Earlier Evolution of Pokemon | Discounted items from all stores
Champion: Choosing this path will make you try and collect all badges availble, and challenge the pokemon league too a fearsome battle to gain the title of Number #1! Only one person can have this rank, as their is always only one champion. One of the most difficult paths.
Ability: 3x more experience gained from battles.
Pokemon Professor: This is a path of learning and studying all aspects of pokemon. Professors treat pokemon as they were other people, rather then using them for battles. Professors try too unravel the mysterious of pokemon, and give ones they have too new trainers. Must pass a certified pokemon quiz too show knowledge of them before becomming one.
Ability: Being the first too test new items when found.
Gym Leader: This tends too be a difficult path for most trainers, as you can only stay in one town for a long time. Gym Leaders battle trainers for all over. You possess a badge that grants trainers in the pokemon league. Too become a Gym Leader, one must challenge the town/cities mayor and win.
Ability: Discounted items from all stores.
Pokemon Breeder: This path speicalizes in raising pokemon, breeding, and training them. Breeders seem too know a trick that helps a pokemon too gain more experience every battle then normal. Breeders have the ablitity too make pokemon mate with eachother and produce eggs.
Ability: Able too breed two pokemon together too make eggs.
Team Venom: This path is the path of darkness. Most people who choose this path have allready started too commit small crimes, such as theifing from shops, pickpocketing people, or using pokemon as tools. Too become a member of Team Venom, you must prove your loyatly too them. Not sure how? Then you're not ready for them.
Ability: Able too steal from whomever without being considered breaking the rule of 'godmodding'.(Do not abuse)
Pokemon Healer This is the path for those looking to aid and heal pokemon rather then useing them for battle. Choosing the path of a Healer will eventually lead you to working in the Pokemon Center like a Nurse Joy, or can lead you to wondering forests for speical healing herbs.
Ability: Able to heal pokemon without the need of a Pokemon Center. Can be your own or trainers pokemon.
Agent: This is the path of the law. Working your way up from a police officer, you can eventually gain the title and power of working under the government and train for speical problems. Agents are given by the government speical pokemon to help them with their career along with their own.
Ability: Power of the law. Able to place people in jail, give fines, bust crimes, ect.
Application:
RP name: Your characters roleplaying name, first and last.
User name: Your Gaia User name.
Age: Please keep the age in the kids range, hopfully such as 10-20 tops. If you would like too be older/younger, keep it reasonable.

Starting Town: Which town does your character start in?
Starting Pokemon: After choosing a town, you get too pick a pokemon that is available from the pokemon lab. You roleplay recieving this pokemon from the lab and whatever pokemon professor is in the town, not just magically having it.
Desired path: What destiny does your character have in store for him? Does he want too be a Gym Leader or a famous Pokemon Breeder?
Bio: Tell us a little background of your character. What's their history like? Don't give us any cliche things such as the most used "parents died/murdered and looking for revenge". Make it original!

How do I get my starter pokemon?
You roleplay going into the Lab in the town, roleplay the professor, and roleplay recieving it from them. You do it, but you cannot just start out with it as if you've been a trainer for a while. You're a new trainer!
Does this RPG follow morely by the TV Show or Game?
Both. You roleplay battles and such as the TV Show, but there are still things that relate too only the game such as weakness, levels, moves, ect.
Do pokemon evolve at the levels they would in the game?
Yes and No. If it does reach the level of it's normal evolution, it will evolve no matter what. But if we feel it's ready too evolve, it will.
Do pokemon learn the moves they normally would at a given level? (Example: Charmander learns ember only at level 9)
Absolutly not. Your pokemon will learn new moves when we feel it is ready.
Can pokemon only learn four moves?
No. They can know as many as they can learn.
How do I Roleplay?
Make sure you do it in THIRD person, not first. So you cannot say I went to the pokecenter. Doing it properly would be He went to the pokemon center.
How does battling work?
You may battle trainers that only exist for that battle, such as random trainers in the games for example. You will control the trainer and roleplay the whole, but I will award the experience and money after. Don't feel the need too wait for me too award it either, as it may take a little longer for me too get too it. Remember, battling like the shows!
Only a few trainer battles should be done a day. If you exceed this then you will gain no experience or money from the battle.
How does battling with real people in the Roleplay work?
Both trainers first have to agree too the battle. Hopfully be on at the same time and hopfully be able too not leave, as the other trainer may get stuck waiting. You then battle like the game, and take one turn at a time. The player who is getting attacked controls what the damage does, it misses or not, ect. Do not abuse this, as it will be considered godmodding.
Can you get experience from wild pokemon? | Is there a limit too how many you can battle in a day?
Yes. And no, there is no limit. But don't abuse it.
How does experience work?
I award a given amount of experience for how hard I think you battled. The more I enjoy reading it, the more experience given. I do not reveal my methods of awarding it too people, but it is organized and very fair. No pokemon are treated different, including mine.
NEW: How does catching a pokemon work?
This new method is used to prevent you for waiting to see if your pokemon is caught. You still have to weaken it in battle or I will not let you catch it, even though this is based on chance. If you would also like a mod to determine the outcome, that is acceptable as well. If you have any questions, ask me.
With Pokeball: Roll a dice from 1-100. If it's 50 or lower, it's caught. 51 or higher, it's not caught.
With Greatball: Roll a dice from 1-100. If it's 70 or lower, it's caught. 71 or higher, it's not caught.
With Ultraball: Roll a dice from 1-100. If it's 90 or lower, it's caught. 91 or higher, it's not caught.
Do you roleplay with us?
Of coarse, this roleplay is also for my enjoyment. I will treat myself exactly equal as you members, with few exceptions. Such as I will soon be controlling two characters too help with upcomming plot lines and such.
How do I become the highest rank in the Path I've chosen?
You can only promote yourself generally if you are in Atopia. There is a speical topic for this, so please look there.
New: How does gambling at a Casino work?
1 CG Insert (30% chance of win) - Roll dice from 1-100. 30 or lower you win 5cg
2 CG Insert (40% chance of win) - Roll dice from 1-100. 40 or lower you win 7cg
3 CG Insert (50% chance of win) - Roll dice from 1-100. 50 or lower you win 10cg
4 CG Insert (60% chance of win) - Roll dice from 1-100. 60 or lower you win 13cg
What is a Random Event?
It's basically, well a random event. I'll post something in the roleplay, and the first person too quote and it reply too it will receive whatever it is. Sometimes random events are for speicfic people, or a specific group of people. Not always for everyone.
How is EXP given out?
Levels 1-10 = 2 points until level-up
Levels 11-15 = 3 points until level-up
Levels 16-22 = 4 points until level-up
Levels 23-30 = 7 points until level-up
Depending on how good your battle was depends on the amount of points given. I choose, but it's around 1point-2points. Amazing battles get 3points.
How do Gym Battles Work?
Either myself or a crew member is allowed too control the NPC gym leader. You challenge him too a battle, and we will respond being the NPC gym leader. We control them in the battle, too keep it fair. You battle it like a normal battle though.
