I've written a few short stories that some people have enjoyed, I'll put my Stories here; however, you'll mostly find most of my work in the Poetry section, as I favor it more then stories. It feel that poetry is a more pure form of expression.
But here is one, I hope that you enjoy.

Story #1
Andrew walked slowly through the streets. He walked slowly with a smile and turned his head slowly right and left. Darkness.
So loud, Andrew thought.
A horn blew on his right; he turned quickly and smelled smoke and gas, he turned his head forward then carried on his way. He heard the silent hum of something hovering beside him.
Andrew had been blind all his life. Of course this is no reason why he wouldn't know what was going on in the world. He knew everything, only he had no idea what it looked like. He knew that Earth had been warped but to what extent was beyond his imagination.
He looked down at his feet. He couldn't see it but Drako was right under him. Andrew smiled again and tilted his head upward as if he were looking at the sky. A tear ran down his cheek, today was the day. He continued his walk.
So loud! Andrew thought.
A burst of air came from his right. He turned and felt the tug of his dog. As he walked into the building the noise stopped.
So quiet.
6 hours later he slowly walked out of the building, eyes closed.
He then knew he was outside in front. He slowly opened his eyes. He immediately saw a bus hovering 5 feet above the ground, and landed. It had a picture of a woman on it and a name. A movie, he imagined.
The bus drove away and he saw many buildings towering into the sky. The air was tinted yellow, and the sky wasn't blue like they said but grey and with spots of black. The streets were covered in cars and buses. It smelled horrible and everyone had a frown on their faces as they walked by.
Andrew sighed and went home.
That night he walked outside into his backyard to see the sky. He looked up, he saw nothing. It was dark and there was nothing in the sky, no stars, no planets, nothing. He blinked hard and a few tears trailed down his cheek. He sobbed quietly and went back inside.
The next day Andrew went back to the building where he went the day before. He had the cybernetic (robotic, artificial) eyes removed. He didn't want to see the world he realized. He just wanted to live the way he had always lived.
That night he went outside and listened.
So loud, he thought. He smiled and went back inside.
Story #2
He spoke little. Living a life of ridicule, criticizm, torment, and dread can have that affect on a young boy. Day in and day out he would be made fun of at school, on the streets, even at home by his brothers and Father.
He tried his best every night to think of a reason to live. He found only one.
His Mother. Deep down he knew she didn't deserve something like that. So he didn't do anything foolish.
Everyday at school was the same. Lonely, dreadful, dull, and uneventful. The nameless boy lived in poverty, constantly hungry, and thirsty, yet always calm. Never wanted pity, never wanted anything. Just to be left alone. Was that too much to ask?
The boy had his glasses broken twice by a few young gentleman after school (after the second, they couldn't afford another pair, so he wore cracked ones), he had to pay for several book having them thrown in the mud, and had to replace 5 folders which were thrown into the trash or into a lake or sometimes a pool. Yet still he was calm.
He didn't like violence. And still there was a sense in him that really wanted to let go. He was so tired of all of this. But still he had to remain calm for his Mother's sake.
Finally he promised himself this one thing. If anyone made any offense towards his Mother, he would make them remember that day. Although the boy didn't like violence he knew this would be his release.
A few weeks later, he endured a lot, and sense the time was coming. So he let the torment build. He embraced every wrong doing to him with a smile and remembered every word.
Finally, it was a Monday, and as he was walking to school there was a small click of boys who began throwing trash at him and yelling names. And finally he heard that word "Mother." That was really all he heard.
He let out a sigh, and turned around. He calmly yet eriely put his cracked glasses away, and gently placed his books and his folder down on the floor.
Then he walked toward the one who had said it, the boys simply laughed. And the boy with no expression on his face and with cold eyes broke into a dash and delivered two gut wretching blows to the boys stomach, before he could react the boy bent him over his right knee and delivered a blow from his right elbow into the boys back. It had the effect of a hammer. The boy fell to the floor moaning and almost unconcience.
The nameless boy after staring at the boy for a few second with still no expression looked up at the rest of the boys and spat on the floor. He thought it to be cliche but he didn't care.
He calmly collected his belongings as if nothing had happened. He slowly put his glasses on and walked to school.
That night he said "Mother?"
Startled at the sudden word from her son she looked up. She rarely heard him speak and was happy that she was not imagining it. "Yes?"
"I love you." was all he said, and walked to his room.
