Ok so what did ya'll think of this new chapter? I think alot happened in it.... I mean I can't really say I saw the whole Kuranai pregnant thing. I wasn't suprised but I just didn't suspect Kish to through that in there.... and is she wearing a wedding/engagement ring?????
Also lets not forget the best part of this whole chapter.... SASUKES BACK...
Yes I am quite happy if you can not tell. xd It made me smile to know that he did not kill any off those nins. Goes to show you he is not as cruel and heartless as he puts on..... but who is he talking about wanting to kill. He used purals so he was refer to more than one person.... we already know he wants Itachi dead.... but who could be the other person.... Naruto? Hmmm.... who knows.

A summary

サスケが倒して横たわっている忍はざっと100人以上もいた
それらが「うっ・・・」「・・・あ~」等うめいている
(From an angle up top)
The shinobi that Sasuke defeated are layed out, counting roughly over 100.
All of them are groaning, "ugh...", "...aa~" and the like.
大蛇丸「非情にならなければイタチには勝てないわよ」
Orochimaru- "You will not succeed against Itachi if you cannot become heartless."
サスケ、スッと立ち上がる
Sasuke stands straight up.
サスケ「あいつの前では非情になるさ 否が応でもな」
Sasuke- "When it comes to him, I will be heartless. Whether you like it or not."
サスケ地面に刺さった刀を抜き、帯に差して歩き出す
その姿を大蛇丸は遠くから腕組して見ている
Sasuke removes his sword from where it's driven into the cracked ground and begins to walk, sheathing it into his obi (the kimono sash).
Orochimaru folds his arms and watches him from a distance.
大蛇丸(返り血を一滴も・・・この子をみてると・・)
(天才と呼ばれていた自分が惨めに思えてくるわね・・)
Orochimaru- (All it takes is one drop of blood staining his hands...when you look at this boy...)
(He seems to have grown miserable, this genius of mine...)
大蛇丸(あと少し・・ほんの少しで私のもの・・!)
舌なめずりする大蛇丸とサスケのアップ。夕日をバックに広い大地
Orochimaru- (A little more...just a little more and it's all mine...!)
There's a close-up shot of Orochimaru licking his lips with his tongue, standing with Sasuke. A setting sun backdrops a vast expanse of land.
(横から見たアングル)
おびただしい数の横たわった忍びたち、その数おそらく千人以上
(Seen from a side angle)
There's a huge mass of sprawled out shinobi. An amount that would most likely exceed even 1000.
場面変わって一楽。サイ・ナルト・サクラの三人でラーメン食べてる
ナルト「あちっ!」
ナルト「やっぱ左手じゃ食いづれーってばよ・・」右手に包帯をしている
The scene changes to the Ichiraku. Three people- Sai, Naruto, and Sakura- are eating ramen.
Naruto- "Ah~ ouch!"
Naruto- "I guess I have to use my left hand to eat then." His right hand is wrapped in bandages.
それを見ているサクラの回想。どこかの病院。ベッドでナルトの腕を治療している
Seeing that, Sakura thinks back to when they were in the hospital. Naruto's arm was recieving medical treatment while he was in bed.
サクラ「何か所も骨折してる・・体が術にもちこたえれてない」
「この新術はここぞって時だけ!多用しちゃダメだからね!」
Sakura- "That's a bone fracture you have in there. Your body can't endure the technique."
"This new technique should only be for this time! Use it anymore and you're done for!"
ナルト「へへ・・大丈夫サクラちゃんが治してくれれば」
Naruto- "Hehe...I'm alright as long as you heal me, Sakura-chan."
サクラ「そういう事言ってんじゃないの!」
「医療忍術で何でもすぐに完治するわけじゃないんだから」
Sakura- "That's not what I'm saying! It's just that medical ninjutsu can't completely heal everything."
ナルト「・・」「でも・・オレってばこういうの何か嬉しいんだ」
「サクラちゃんと一緒にサスケに近づいてる気がすっから」
Naruto- "..."
"But...doing something like this makes me happy."
"And that's because together with Sakura-chan, it feels as if we're getting closer to Sasuke."
はっとするサクラ。ナルトは笑う。席を近づけ「はい あーん」とするが
そこに笑いのオチがあり、その後カカシが登場
Sakura is taken aback. Naruto laughs/smiles.
Taking a seat closer, she goes, "Right. Now say 'aa'".
There's a little omission to when they are laughing. After that, Kakashi makes an appearance.
サクラ「病院で寝込まないなんて珍しいですね。カカシ先生」
カカシ「そんなイメージついちゃってるのね、今のオレ・・ショック」
Sakura- "It's rare to see you not laying in bed at the hospital, Kakashi-sensei."
Kakashi- "You just have to have that image of me stuck in your head. I'm shocked."
カカシ「ま、今回は万華鏡写輪眼を使わずに済んだからね」
(角都に捕らえらて攻撃を受ける瞬間のカカシの回想)
Kakashi- "Well, it's because this time I didn't settle for using the Mangekyou Sharingan."
(Kakashi has a flashback on taking on Kakuzu and the moment he recieved his offensive.)
カカシ「あの時お前達が駆けつけてくれなかったら、また確実に使っていた」
「今頃、イメージ通りベッドの上だったな アハハ」
Kakashi- "If you guys didn't come to rush in after us at that time, I would have most assuredly used it again."
"And your image of me lying on this bed around this time would have been right. Ahaha"
何か考えているナルト。それを見ているカカシ
Naruto is thinking about something. Kakashi looks at him.
カカシ「ナルトお前は確かに強くなった。オレと肩を並べるかそれ以上だ・・」
Kakashi- "Naruto, it's quite true that you've become stronger. Compared to me, you're on my level or higher..."
カカシ「だが大きな術であればあるほどそれ相応のリスクがある事も頭に入れておけ」
Kakashi- "However, the flashier the jutsu you have, the more risk you must factor for yourself."
ナルト「うん・・」
Naruto- "Got it..."

場面変わって大蛇丸のアジト
Scene changes to Orochimaru's hideout
ベッドでゲホ、ゲホ咳き込んでいる大蛇丸
In bed, Orochimaru is coughing up a storm.
カブト「もう限界ですね これだとランク10の薬を投与しないと体が・・」
「薬を取り替えてきます 少しお待ちください」部屋を出ていくカブト
Kabuto- "You are already at your limit. Not taking your prescribed rank 10 medicine will cause your body to..."
"I will go change the dosage. Please wait while I do so." Kabuto leaves the room.
なぜか狂ったように高笑いする大蛇丸。だがすぐ咳き込み、血を吐く。
両腕にはグルグル巻きになった呪印のような模様がある
For some reason, Orochimaru begins to laugh uncontrollably. But then soon after he starts hacking up blood. Wrapped all around his arms like bandages are seal patterns.
そこへ突然、部屋を突き破り大蛇丸を狙うチャクラの刀が伸びる
大蛇丸それを両手のクロスガードで受け止める。
大蛇丸「このチャクラ性質は・・だがこの形態変化は見たことがない」
And it's there that, abruptly, a chakra blade pierces through the room aimed at Orochimaru.
Orochimaru stops it by forming a cross-guard with his arms.
Orochimaru- "This chakra nature... but I've never encountered such a form manipulation before."
大蛇丸「誰なの?」
(上から見たアングル。チャクラの刀は20m近く伸びている)
Orochimaru- "Who is it?" (The angle is from up top. A blade of chakra stretches close to 20m.) (translator's note: Goddamn!)
戸を切り裂いて出てきたのはサスケ
Slicing the door apart comes Sasuke.
大蛇丸「やっぱり・・そう来たわね」
Orochimaru- "So...you come after all."
サスケ「もうアンタに教わることは何も無い」
Sasuke- "There's nothing left for you to teach me."
サスケ「・・アンタの前でも・・ 非情になれそうだ」
Sasuke- "...And when it comes to you, I will be heartless."
写輪眼を出すサスケ、顔には呪印状態1の模様が浮かび上がる
Sasuke activates the Sharingan, and the first level of the cursed seal runs across his face.

Ok now for my rant.... Yeah this is a very momentous ((sp?)) Chapter.... I mean the ending, WOW... I always hoped Sasuke would turn on Orochimaru but I never really saw it coming.
Man what if Sasuke suceeds? I mean what will he do then? Go after Itachi... maybe even Naruto... I dout he will go back to Konoha, and what the hell is Naruto going to think.... Will their new goal be to save Sasuke from himself?
But what if Oro has something else up his sleeve? I mean obviously Oro needs a new body and soon... If Sasuke fails I am sure Oro will take his body rather quickly.... Gah... so much to think about.... And so little time... ((I have a Public Relations Exam to study for and this new development is not helping my concentration.))

I have to say that I was very fangurlish when I finally read the chapter on Friday morning. In my mind Sasuke as a character had gone down hill, turning on the only people who could help him for a man who was old enough to be his grandfather or something, who bit him on the shoulder, and then started saying he wanted his body? That's just sick and wrong, and didn't his parents ever tell him not to talk to strangers? Damn he was dumb! But then this all happened and I was thrown for a loop! I love Sasuke, I always sort of have. And now that he's finally getting his balls back and getting the foot out of his a** and started using that large brain of his, he's become one of my favorite characters again.
I don't know what's going to happen with Naruto, I know he still wants him back. Hell Naruto is falling apart inside without Sasuke there. Even if he is stronger than he was when he left, Naruto's mental state has been batted up very badly from all of this. Sasuke is his best friend and they went through so much together. If Sasuke loses his body to Orochimaru, Naruto might just lose himself to the kyuubi out of depression. And that would NOT be good.
A part of me also wants to know what the hell Itachi thinks about all of this. If Sasuke looses his body to the sick snake freak, he can't go after Itachi, and Itachi will lose his only chance for redemation, if that is even what he wants. I don't think he'd let the Sharingan fall into the hands of someone like Orochimaru, but then again, he hasn't shown up since the whole Gaara thing. And with Hidan and Kakuzu gone with good (at least I hope so), they (the Akatsuki) will have to send someone else after the other beasts. But who? Tobi and Deidara (I can only hope we see more of Deidara! I love him!)? Maybe see that blue haired girl we keep seeing in photos of the back of her head? Kisame? They are running out of members. If they keep all running into Naruto and the gang, they just might lose all there members!
And what about Naruto's vacation and the Chunnin exams that are suppose to be starting soon? Will he be able to enter, even if he doesn't have a team? Will he get a team? I want to see Naruto take the Chunnin exam again, cause I know he can do it. Hell he's about as strong as Kakashi now, the man even keeps telling him that! So let the boy take the test right?
AND WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH SAI????? *growls* I can not stand him, and if Sasuke comes back to the village, I want him to beat the s**t out of Sai then take Naruto and claim him as his own! Cause everyone knows that Sasuke and Naruto are in love, they are just to hard headed to tell each other!
And before I piss someone off with how long this is, I will leave!

I must ask....
HOW THE BLEEPING BLEEP DID SAKURA BECOME CHUUNIN WITHOUT A TEAM?
I mean, the Chuunin exam was a team exclusive thing. And Naruto was off exploring the world and Sasuke.... er, let's not go there.
How'd she manage that? Did she have a temporary team? Or did she get moved up specially?
