Le Fille Cassee Vice Captain

The dusty road led to an equally dusty Tavern. The three storys rose up in a light pine wood. Black shutters on the windows kept most of the dust out and the light in. The roof was painted a bright red in vast contrast. Inside was simple, dark cherry wood tables were arranged around the edges a small clearing in the center. The door faced east and if you were looking at it their was a large fireplace to your right. It crackled with a unnatural strength, as it was fueled by magic. The bar was the same dark cherry wood as the tables and chairs, it shone with the careful gleam of long hours of work.
To the right of the bar was a small stage with various instruments and musical items. To the left was a long staircase that lead to the other two floors. All had rooms with the same basic design. Two beds, a table, and a dresser. The wood had the permenant smell of old ale and smoke grained into the woods. The steps were worn down with the tread of many feet. Outside a small sign hung from the threshold. A black claw was painted on the sign showing who owned it. Those who knew the secrets could gain access to the rooms in the back, where... illegal business could be conducted.

The blond young woman sat with her chin on the bar tapping her feet lightly on the dark rungs of the stool. "Tis a said day when the bar doesn't have a barkeep." Her arms hung down at her sides. The tattoos on her left arm were visable. On her right arm the strings gilttered in the light from the lanterns. The blue stone that hung from her neck matched the color of her shirt. Her darker blue skirt reached down her thighs. A pair of blue sandles were on the floor. The small crystal dragon sat on the bar next to her cheeping softly. "I want a drink."

Siori walked in and saw her friend. "Barkeep still not here?" she asked going behind the bar. "I hired one. And a Tavern Wench to. oh well, I'll yell at them later. What do you want?" she asked pulling her long hair into a ponytail. It hung down still brushing the back of her black top.

Loa's eyes glittered and she sat up, almost puppy like. "A suicide." Her favorite was a mix of some of the most potent drinks there shaken and dumped into a large mug. Promised to put anyone but her under the table with one sip. "Now we need a bard. I can fill that post for a while but its such a shame..."

"Yes it is but hey, I'm working on it." going over to the drinks Siori mixed the suicide, filling a cup with Root Beer for herself. "You get drunk, as the older person here I think I'll stay sober." she said handing her the drink. Going over she sat down next to her. "So, first order of business let's celebrate the opening of The Raven Mercenaries."

I raised my glass in a toast. "May the rivers never sease." I took a harty sip and smiled. "Plus I don't get drunk. The magic burns it off far too fast." I took another glup, "Mores the pitty."

I sighed, a faint smile creassing my face. "No... I can never get drunk." I sighed commicly and riased the glass again. I looked at my friend, "So Siori you have any plans? Or o I get to beat the crap outta the newbies?"

"Go ahead, that's what the training area is there for. We need to start assigning people to do things soon." she said her mind wandering to the many jobs she had left to do.

I smiled and finished off the drink placing it lightly on the table. "You got it. Tell me if you need me." I put my shoes back on and waltzed into the sunshine, the small crystal dragon following me. It landed on my shoulder, careful as to not dig its bare claws into my skin. The dragon cheeped a question. "No Chidori, we don't get to fight...yet."

Siori shook her head as her friend left. "Somethings will never change." she said finishing her drink. Going behind the bar she cleaned her glass. 'Well, better get to work' with that thought she turned and left.

"I got two pickles, I got two pickles, I got two pickles, hey, hey hey." Atheriel came in squeezing a toy in his hands that squeeked with every clutch. "I like the little rascals, don't you?" he said talking to the toy.

Siori came back in and saw Ateriel talking to himself. "Atheriel you are going to scare people stop that." she said going behind the bar. "Saw your fight with Loa, I see that I chose right for my crew." a smile came to her face as she remembered watching the fight, neither of them aware of her.

Chidori scolded Siori lightly. "Well if you were watching why didn't you saw anything?" I moved over to the stage and began to tune a small harp. "It is a bit rude to watch without cheering." I smiled broadly at her.
