I think she just sees him as her weak older brother who she can manipulate. But on some level, she does care, beacause he IS her brother.

puddles36912 I think she just sees him as her weak older brother who she can manipulate. But on some level, she does care, beacause he IS her brother. Yes, I agree. Doesn't hate him, but sees him as weak and a dissapointment. Basically the same way his father sees him I suppose. sad

She thinks he´s too weak to heir the fire nation, I think she wants to desappear him and someday became the Lady of the firenation

I think Azula hates Zuko, and thinks he is weak and a disapontment. But she only care like... 3%. Only that much because Zuko IS HER brother.

You know, I would agree...if I hadn't seen "The Beach." Now I don't know what to think. Obviously, she just uses him most of the time, but in that episode they kind of...got along. It was weird.

I don't see it as a matter of love or hate but as jealousy. Azula was stronger and more talented as a child and, although she was 'loved' by her father, probably feels neglected by her mother who she feels favors Zuko. So when thinking of Zuko she feels a cross of superiority and insecurity that probably baffles her. So although her feelings lean twards hate i think of it as a resentment and a wanting to be alittle like him, but before she can pass judgment on which she has to figure out how she feels about her mother...
