Okay, here's what happened. I'll try to put down as much as I can, but I swear to God, I had a meet and greet with them. Well, 4/5 of them. :'[

So some of you know I was going to the 2/13 concert of Dir en grey + Bleed the Dream + Fair to Midland (I THINK, OMFG.. didn't like them that much.. they sounded sort of like they were speaking German; but I did like the hyperness and the beginning when they were doing mic check) in Chicago in the House of Blues. But, anyway.. This was my first concert, ya know? And I pretty much couldn't sleep the day before. So the next day I wake up and get ready for school, since yeah, it's a Tuesday, but it was awesome, because we had a snow day. Only thing was.. snow day meant TRAFFIC.

AND BOY, did we hit traffic. It took us like two hours to get from Ogden to Chicago, and then to 329 North Dearborn St., but we finally made it. IT SUCKS, because we were some of the last people in line (us being me and my best friend Cha). We went inside and didn't know WHERE in the hell to go, so we just dropped down into a little area where everyone seemed to be gathering. There was like a drape with a screen over it, playing music videos, so I didn't think it could be lifted, but that turned out to be the stage.

The first band that played was Bleed the Dream. They WERE FLOOPING AWESOME! I loved the hyper lead singer; he was hilarious. I have more to say about him later, but anyway.. This was my first concert, remember? So I had no idea what to do. I just ended up head banging and then running around. This is when things got to be really hot....

By the time the second band played, I was kind of sweaty and out of it, and no offense to them but they didn't help the sour mood I was getting in, especially since the speakers were kinda near my right ear.

When they stopped playing, it seemed like we waited for Dir en grey SO. LONG. They left the curtain open, so whenever a hot Asian guy when on stage to set up, everyone would start screaming until they realized who it was. At one point they played GDS to, tease us maybe? But the second time they played it and Shinya came on, I couldn't even see them come because everyone's hands went in the air, and I was behind all the tall people with my back pressed against a fricken rail...

I screamed so loud when I got a good view of Kyo. But I could barely see Kaoru. I saw Die though, and at one point, when I was slammed against the rail when people had to be moved out, it almost looked like he was laughing at us or something. XD Once he leaned forward and licked his lips, and I KNEW he looked at me, because I was the little short girl behind everyone jumping up and down screaming and crying because I couldn't see. I saw Shinya too, but Die was somewhat mostly covering him, and Kyo and Toshiya would come over to the right side sometimes. But I loved it.. just the mucic was so INTENSE.

Afterwards, after they had done their ENCORE and Kyo said bai-bai~

I was kinda bummed because I could hardly see anything at the show. So Cha wanted to cheer me up and he's like, "let's go buy some merch!" So, while people were rushing out, we were in line to get stuff, and right before we got there, this guy poked me and was like, "ya got 15 dollars if you want to buy a CD of Dir en grey?" Since I had heard there was barely anything left of Diru, and said yes, and I bought it, but then he was like, check the back of your Pre-Order.

So I did..

And THERE WAS A GREEN STICKER.

Of course I looked at the guy like, "WTF?" And he was like, "Oh, you get to meet the band!" And I was, "O_O!?!?!?! DIR EN GREY?!?!?!?!" And he was all, "Duh."

I almosted fainted. So after I gave Cha my money to buy me something, Harry, Diru's tour manager, guided me and maybe eight or nine others up some stairs and told us to wait. So we did..

WHILE we were waiting, the lead singer of Bleed the Dream came over and (seemingly DRUNK, lol) slapped us on the back. I engaged him in some awkward conversation about how he was better than the second band (though kept out he wasn't as good as Diru), and he was like, "OH, want a sample of our new CD KILLER INSIDE?" And yeah, we were all like, "FAMOUS GUY. YES, AND PLEASE SIGN IT!"

So we got that, and then Harry came back and lead us up another three or so flights of stairs to where it seemed like the very top of the House of Blues. I wasn't really that nervous, but the friends I had made seemed that way, and we were all practicing our Japanese.. So after that, I sat down on a stool on the balacony and we all waited, while Harry told us the rules:

"NO taking pictures."
"No hugging. Oh, unless they want to hug you.."
"They'll shake your hand, but unless they have a pen, don't really ask... but they should have a pen."

Yeah. So looked over and they entered. Sadly, Kyo wasn't there..
Everyone went to Shinya and Toshiya first, so I was the first one to approach Die. Okay, I may have sounded like an idiot, but while he was signing my Pre-Order, I was like, "Sugoi~" and he laughed at me, but when I said "Arigatou" and bowed my head, he looked really hyper and kinda patted his signature.
Then I went to Kaoru~
I was kind of scared to tell him anything, so I was just chipper and said arigatou again when he signed mine.
Then it was Shinya~

I said, "How's Miyu?" and he kind of looked at me strange but then I said "Sugoi~" and he laughed..
I GOT A LAUGH OUT OF SHINYA.
GO ME, WHITE GIRL! XD
I also shook his hands. I could see his bones, OMG. Eat, Shin~

Toshiya was last, and I shook his hand rather vigriously. He has a tight grip, but his hands are so sort. He laughed at me because I wasn't really letting go, and then kind of looked at Shinya, and I don't really know what happened between that second period, but whatever.
He has the weirdest signature!

Anyway, while they were leaving, I said sugoi again to Die and he laughed and shook my hand. Then left. I uttered "Riida" to Kaoru, but he didn't hear me.. to bad.
GAH. I'M SO HAPPY.

Now I'm dead, because it's 12:23 in the morning.

Once I find a scanner, I'll show you all my signatures! I only wish Kyo was there.. I think he was just really tired. He wore himself raw out there; screaming and jumping and stuffs. I don't blame him, I just thought I was gonna meet him. Oh well. I just hope they get out of Chicago okay. Don't get stuck in the snow, guys~

from what i know it means: "cool", "awesome" or "unbelievable"

if only 9 ppl get to go....and the meridian holds about 500 ppl....my odds are very slim.....>__>;;
i'm scared now......i REALLY WANT TO MEET THEM AGAINNNNN!!!!
I only got to meet Die and Shinya last time at the FVT. ;__; I really wanted to meet Toshiya and Kaoru as well (of course Kyo....but that's rare.....>__>....)
I need to see if they did that for all the stops so far.....ARGHHHH!!! I'M SCAREDDDD NOW!!! >o<;;
I guess I should bring my limited edition Ryoujoku no Ame, Agitated Screams of Maggots and Marrow of a Bone CD's for them to sign....just in case.....Think I should bring the poster from the FVT concert?? And probably a nice big silver sharpie....>D hehehehehe

You're so lucky! I'm really happy you met them! I wish one day I'll be able to meet them too! But for now I'll try to find a way my parents would accept that I go see one of their concert! XD
