Cordain shook his head, it wasn't just him that had walked in, but two others, all of them in off-duty attire. Cordain although, was now freelance and not a military soldier like the two who had dragged him in so he wasn't employed if he had time to idle about like this.

One of the two men bows to Reina, "Hey. So what do you sell here? Souls?" he asked. The other gave a chuckle as Cordain just folded his arms across his chest and took the offered seat. "You two are insane, if she was selling souls, what good would one do any of us?"

The second man chuckled again, "Awww...Maybe we could find a woman's soul here, one that would actually be able to handle your all work demeanor Cordain."

One of the two guys leans forward and with a conspiratory grin at Reina, answers her question, "The two of us." he motions to Cordain's other companion, "Are here to buy our dour, stern friend here...A soul, maybe something pretty and attractive, that'd actually make him smile?"

Cordain glares darkly at his friends, "Excuse me but I am perfectly capable of smiling when I feel like it." The other man looks at him and laughs, "Right, last time we saw you smile you were rending an enemy soldier with a knife...You need to learn a more human kind of joy ya freak."

"Freak? Who still is in the military past the initial term they signed up for?" Cordain retorts.

The two shrugged and slapped Cordain on the back as they laughed and left, they weren't going to complain, one of them though gave Cordain a 'knowing wink' before they disappeared outside. Cordain just looked at Reina back, he did not so much as bat an eyelash out of pace when she 'weighed his worth'.

"I'm all yours now." He stated as he leans back into the couch and watched her.

"In all honesty...Reina, I think this entire shop is nothing more than a joke, a sham. I believe it is a waste of money, and that these souls you speak of are nothing more than figments of the imagination of those who don't know better." he stretched and smirked at her.

"I also believe my friends are doing this as a joke, but if they want to throw away their money on something that doesn't exist, I'll let them. It is their money, not mine being thrown in the garbage." He tilted his head. "I have no intention of reporting you though since I know of no laws that speak out against the selling or buying of souls, only bodies. So you're not doing anything illegal, but I still think you're a charlatan who uses charisma and a very sharp mind to trick people."

Luciandra jumped as she looked around quickly, "Ah! Where...what..." She looked right at Reina and then to Cordain, "...I...I'm at a slave auction for spirits?" she asked with a confused look to her eyes.

Cordain watched this and looked at Reina, "...Impressive..." he stood and removed a gauntlet as he walked over to gently touch Luciandra's cheek. He froze and looked at Reina, "...Necromancy..." he hissed between his teeth as he watched her.

"She's a false entity and a spirit trapped in a flesh cage...isn't she?" he spoke, his eyes looking far less than happy with Reina.

Luciandra at hearing the words Necromancy, and being treated like she was some non-entity just stared, the hand was warm but the man it belonged to seemed as cold as ice.

Cordain shook his head slightly before he straightened up, "...That's actually half funny." He gave Reina a half smirk before he looked to Luciandra. "...Hmmm..." he examined here like he would a piece of equipment.

Luciandra shrank back a bit as she watched him, she remembered what it was like in her past life to be looked at like that, typically it was because of men who wanted her body, which she never gave. "Could you please not look at me like that sir?" she asked him.

He nodded his head slightly to Luciandra then to Reina, "...I guess I'll take her then." he straightened up and glanced towards the door, "You two can come back in now." he called out, the door opened and the two men returned, looking sheepish.

Cordain leaned forward and signed the contract as his friends scrounged up enough cash between them to pay for the soul. He stood up and looked at Luciandra, "What's your name girl?" he almost demanded of her.

Luciandra winced, "My name is Luciandra sir." she said in a light, quiet voice looking a little unnerved by everything that just happened, "P-pleased to meet you." she bowed a bit to him.

"Don't bow. I'm Cordain, I guess you're living with me." he stated and turned to glare at his friends before he started for the door, "Let's go, we still have lunch."
