Deimos: The consistent background evil of the world, mostly they appear to be monstrous apparitions, most people do not know where they came from or why though their history is quite ancient, older than the Terrans.

Age: first beings on Terrah...

Appearance: varied forms depending on their use and or lineage, many resemble animals common to Terrah though the forms are often twisted.

History: In beginning was the Creator and many worlds were formed by his hands, soon after he created his first children who walked the stars with him. But the beings he created were powerful almost like gods themselves and they rebelled trying to destroy the one who made them. As punishment he cast the traitors to a planet and bound them there the power he had given them soaking into the ground itself unable to be touched again. Their hatred and bitterness twisted their bodies into monstrosities and they hated all life created by he who had banished them.

Terrans: The main protagonists/antagonists, humanoid with the ability to breed with most other humanoid races. Their brain chemistry allows for 1/5th of the population to manipulate the energies of their planet. Even the non mages have some sense of empathy, a gift from their Creator.

Age: approximately 10,000 years.

Appearance: Bipedal with basic humanoid features, average between 5' and 6' tall, ranging general sizes from large to slender and with any hair color from purest silver to raven black, though the lighter colors are more common. On average the people are lighter skinned though the people of the south tend to have more cinnamon and chocolate hues.

History: After the betrayal of his first children the Creator went about making his second group they did not have the power of their predecessors world bound they showed true humility and faithfulness to the one who made them and as a gift many were 'touched' to be able to use the energy that existed in their world once belonging to their predecessors.

Terisian Catras: A mage created race that resembles felinic humans, reclusive, side characters for the most part.

Age: between 3,000-4,000 years.

Appearance: Bipedal with basic humanoid features, light barely seen fur along the skin, slightly talon-ed nails, large triangular or rounded ears on top of the head often sticking out of the hair. They average on smaller sizes than humans because they don't range in weight as drastically as Terrans do. Often they are between 4'-5'9", slender figures and slight frames. Eyes are slitted like a felines in blues, grays, and greens, though mages eyes turn gold when the use magic. They can have all natural colors of hair though most tend towards the brown and golden hues. Again blacks are rare for hair. Skins are usually faintly sun dark but no darker depending on their level of activity. The feet are rounded with retractable claws, but if the ears are masked and feet covered they can appear to be small humans.

History: written and being revised.

Changlings: Mage created race who can appear humanoid though never human. Bipedal in their 'natural' form though they can transform into a fire-bird form as well. Often only briefly mentioned in stories.

Age: approximately 8,000 years

Appearance: The skin and hair often reflect the colors of the birds they become, exotic reds blues and yellows. Their eyes are usually golden and they are the most exotic looking of the creatures of Terrah. Only those with more muted colorings usually find themselves out in the 'normal' world otherwise they stay in their mountainous caves. Small and averaging only 5' changlings are the most recognized of the species.

History: Has not yet been written but will be.

Drahk: Native born race to Terrah, evolved over time to be as they are today. Often guardians they are mentioned in several stories of the series. Historians and linguists are their more common jobs.

Age: Unknown, perhaps as old as the Deimos.

Appearance: from tip of the nose to tip of the tail they average between 10' to 15' in length. Their wingspan is easily 12' in length depending on the size of the Drahk. They appear as small long necked dragons though they do not breath fire or collect riches. Scales that seem soft to the touch can become as hard as diamonds when on the defense. Large front facing eyes see very well in full daylight or full dark. The whip-like tail has hidden quills at its end that are used for defensive purposes and the retractable claws at front paws and feet are just as useful. the front legs have fully flexing thumbs and four other digits like a humans so they can grasp things like books and cups, though the books are more useful.
