Personality:
Hijari is a complexity even to herself. Though mostly the young ninja is very social and will gladly enter a conversation. At times she can be strong willed and becomes very serious in situations where she has to fight or spar with other ninja. Also she's bright in her own way, and keeps most of her opinions to herself despite how much she loves to talk.
Ultimate Goal:
She wants to become the full time teacher at the academy, having a soft spot for ninja of her own village, and not really seeing herself fit to do anything else.
Short Bio:
At a young age her mother, a skilled jounin from the village hidden in the mist, was killed by some 'mysterious disease. She currently lives with her older brother and father, who are not and know nothing about being a ninja. Often times she finds herself feeling resentment towards them because of this, and doesn't understand why her father worries about everything and her brother avoids her at all costs. The death of her mother on the other hand barely effects anything in her life or her emotional being, seeing as how young she was when it happened.

Hijari's HomeCurrently she is living with Raichi in his appartment, though sometimes she feels like a burden that has been thrust upon him. Despite skipping as many meals as humanly possible so she doesn't put a drain on his resources. Besides this, Hijari enjoys the time she gets to spend with him and the closeness they have now. Before she had only seen him around the village, and that was only if she was lucky enough to bump into him.
Living with Raichi didn't just happen like most would think, but rather Hijari had been kicked out of her own house. Earlier she had lived with her father, Diarro, and her brother, Herouji. Now her relationship with the two had never really been very close, but her father worried about her all the time and had forbid her to go to the chuunin exams. When he discovered that she went, and that she had graduated to chuunin even, he gave her a choice. Either give up on being a ninja, or leave the protection of the household. Hijari explained that she had only become a ninja to protect the citizens of Konoha, 'people like you and Herouji' as she had put it, who are not ninja. She chose to leave, and that is when Raichi took her in.Personality QuirksIn normality Hijari is a very social girl who perfers conversation over awkward silence. Before she graduated to chuunin and started taking her training as seriously as her life depended on it, she would have been seen as a one of the popular girls; always hanging out and talking about crushes with each other. Inviting to most, Hijari has a strong sense of protection, as evident in her willingness to help other train to become better.
Expressing emotion and opening up in general, on the other hand, is something she simply won't allow herself to do. After growing up in a house filled with boys, she realized that showing emotion would only get her picked on, despite how good-hearted it was. Because of this, she turned into a bit of tomboy, and hates the words 'girly, delicate, cute, ect.' to be used against her. Especially by a taunting enemy. This act alone will probably ensue her wrath to be taken down upon them.
When it comes to training, sparing, and all out battles she is very serious. This is probably the only time Hijari is not thinking about conversation, and usually has no will to speak or taunt the enemy unless its called for. Though lately something odd has been happening to her, a feeling she herself doesn't understand, but has no will to curb it while in the act; despite her guilt afterwards. While having an enemy already beaten, she has finds enjoyment in their reactions to taunting them with further a** kicking. Perhaps this a feeling all ninja get, or so Hijari likes to hope.Her Opinion on Herself"I really don't see myself as a strong ninja, and I know I shouldn't think like that. 'Its going to be my downfall', yeah yeah, I've heard it before. But that doesn't mean I won't work my butt off to complete a mission, or be as useful to the village as anyone else. Maybe it is just me and my thinking, but with people like my father, my sensei, and even my love saying I'm not a good ninja... what am I to believe?"LikesSome of her likes include:

Well... we'll get to that a bit later. Though so far he's turning out to be war-hungry and reckless.
Ultimate Goal:
He has none, just to make it to the next day and live to fight for the village he 'secretly' cares so much about.
Short Bio:
Okibi had always been a hardworking ninja, and worked mostly on his tremendous strength he harbored in his arms. Though while he was growing up his biggest pride was his use of special jutsu. After an accident as a genin that caused him the loss of controlling his chakra flow, Okibi now has to keep most of the chakra bottled up inside by a seal on his wrist. Unable to use ninja techniques like he use to, Okibi fell heavily upon the use of his impossibly strong arms, and a brutal battling style that left many enemies in back-breaking shambles. Developing his own weapon, the cleaving shuriken, Okibi advanced into the ranks of jounin and was sent off to quench his battle thirst in the war on the front lines. Though recently he had been pulled from that job and was none to happy about it.

Okibi's LifestyleFrom here on out, as far as he knows he's unable to go back to the frontlines due to the situation back in Konoha, and that does not sit well with the war-mongral of a jounin at all. Once again he's taken back the old habit of sipping on a flask of sake all day, except for when he's on missions. Being as battle-hungry and restless he is, Okibi takes as many missions as humanly possibly, often times going out on a limb to risk his neck for the sake of that missions completion and keep Konoha's reputation as one of the stronger five shinobi nations. After all, if he can't help fight on the front lines, he'll surely rear his head and raise his blade against any who dare see Konoha as weakened in the state its in.Personality QuirksRuthless and rugid, he'd much rather kill ya then look at ya. That is, if you're not a citizen of Konoha. He's always restless when it comes to going on missions and completing them to the utmost technicality. Normally his demeanor towards over Konoha ninja is much more lax, though he still likes to keep his distance. Often times he'll make himself appear harsh in order to do so, keeping the cleaver out in plain sight and tapping menacingly against his heavily wrapped shoulders.
There is a quieter side to Okibi though, despite his uncaring nature to most issues. He's not beyond teaching a youngster some tricks of the trade, but they better be ready to work and work hard. Luckily, the only thing keeping him from becoming a full out teacher is the restrictions of his techniques. After all, who wants little battle-hungry ninja running around? Okibi is certainly more then enough to handle that little occupation himself.
Most of the time he appears careless, and can be seen sipping on his flask of sake. Truth is, he cares deeply for the city of Konoha, but has not yet accepted this himself.His Opinions"War is a thing to rejoice over. Assert yourself, protect your village and all it stands for, and for the love of sake be the butcher not the worthless piece of meat that's about to get hacked into! I don't believe in much else, except people are gonna screw up and its up to us, the shinobi, to clean it up. Jutsu Explanation
Nekura-Yajuu Jutsu: Literally meaning Dark (natured) Beast Jutsu, the ability is specially tied to Okibi and his chakra. A potentially dangerous jutsu for both opponet and user, because Okibi has been required to restrain most of his chakra with a seal on his wrist. (Note: not a cursed seal, just tribal markings.) Though by spreading a drop or more of his own blood on his fingers or hands while preforming a single handsign, the seal will break and his chakra will seep out around him; the Nekura-Yajuu can now begin. Black in color due to a medical accident as a genin, this chakra is merely used and absorbed again to be re-used through his chakra points; which have been altered during the accident. It's almost impossible for Okibi to run out of chakra because of this seemingly endless supply. The jutsu itself can be molded in to several different forms, but Okibi perfers a beast like appearance that will tower over him before lunging forward at an opponet, with or without a genjutsu (usually a dark veil that shrouds the opponet) attached. The chakra beast sends an immense burning or acidic sensation (that will most of the time melt through solid objects) through anything it touches due to the type of 'medicine' that was used on Okibi during the accident. This jutsu can be used countless times after being absorbed back into the body again after this attack, but to much to soon and Okibi will begin to lose the use of his chakra points, rendering him practically useless as a ninja.
Also, another more common use of this chakra in confined spaces or when comrades are moving about the area, is when Okibi will actually transfer some of this chakra into his modified weapon. Specially built for this purpose, it can either grow or shrink depending on how Okibi needs to use it, causing the same burning/acidic sensation.

Jutsu Explanation Shadow Medium Jutsu: An ability she's had since she was a small child, and strengthened heavily over the years of training to be a Konoha ninja. The shadow medium jutsu is a direct mental tie to the shadows, a bond only strengthened by knowing an ancient language long forgotten over the generations; and burried with the death of the jutsu's creator. Until some part of it had been recalled upon by an extension of Jovi's unconcious. The jutsu allows her to communicate to the shadows, as often times will be told of her surroundings and all that's going on. Because of this, its nearly impossible to ambush Jovi, unless the Shadow Medium happened to be disabled at that point in time. Besides a simple relay of information, Jovi can bend and mold the shadows at will alone. Another branch of the shadow medium jutsu is the 'shadow possession' where several nigh impossible feats can be reached. With this her eyes will become completely blacked out, neither crystaline blue or the whites of her eyes will be visable any longer. At a higher degree her body will be engulfed by shadow, acting as a crude armor that absorbs shadow, and converts light into darkness at small degrees. The shadow possession is amplified while in contact with her black schimitar, for when combined with Jovi's chakra it can amplifly the strength, diversity and range of her attacks. When used correctly, slashes to the air or directly to an opponet will leave wide gashes of dark waves capable of cutting through most solid objects with enough force.
