"Allright Ujaala, be the wind, be the wind!" was the little pipe of a voice that suddenly called out from absolutely no where in the smack middle of somewhere in anywhere, but at the same time, it was just there. In a patch of grass, the little black feline stared at his prey, his lime green eyes flaring violently, casting very faint light on the blades around him. "You'll get it today, be the wind."
And there, infront of him, was; of all things, a harmless little mouse. A rodent, something hundreds of times smaller than he was, exaggeration added for tax. BUT IT WAS THERE. As it had been there the day before, and the day before, constantly taunting the little loner ever since he had mistakenly found his way to this part of Africa from his home, so far away, home.
AUG. Shaking his head, he stared at his obsessive little item, and it knew he was there - they had long past quit the life and death aspect of this little game, and had made it a much larger, much dangerous game of cat and mouse. Except the mouse usually won. Lowering his body for the initiate, he waited for the right opportunity, wound himself up, and...
GO! In a sprint of pure adrenaline and energy, the little cubbin made use of what the Cheetahs had; and that was speed. Although he was fast, he was still learning, and small, so he had been just enough speed to catch up with the little creature - it's skittering paws tack-tacking in his hearing range. But he was concentrating on catching up, eyes fixtated on the little b*****d.
BE the wind, BE the wind, BE the wind - MUST Be the --
ROCK!!

(Partially rping to burn myself out..) It was almost a blessing that the weather had taken a break from being blistering hot, and then more blistering hot. In the wake of the heat wave break, which, in the desert, was never much a drop in heat, and a very rare - short timed occurance, it was when many of it's occupants enjoyed what little leisure they could before it got too hot again.
And that's what Takasika had been attempting to do on this fine day, as he waltzed around the little slice of wherever he was, admiring the scenes and just enjoying life. It had been awhile since he really got out and just took a walk around. Maybe it was high time to -- oh what's this.
Looking down, he watched idly as a little rodent had whisked under him, disappearing only momentarily as it flitted under his cream-coloured underbelly, and then just as fast as it went into that void it emerged, and kept running past the teenaged Cheetah, leaving him slightly befuddled and wondering why a little rodent was running so fast.
And then it hit him.

And indeed, it had hit him. It hit him hard and left the two to tumble for a few turns before ending up further than the now dust clouded point of land where a bronze cheetah had in one moment been firmly planted in. But not now. Instead they were a mass of limbs and dark and tawny fur, kicking ever slightly so, almsot as if to tangle knots that weren't there.
Ujaala had been the first to gain his bearings; but only slightly so, as his head popped out of the ball of fur, eyes wide and mouth agape, his body attempting to catch it's breath from both the run and the paw to rock collision that had happened. Unaware of the ball of fur that was still flabbergasted by the impact, he hobbled onto the side of the teenager, scanning the ground once more, before hissing out.
"I'LL GET YOU NEXT TIME... Dammit." he yelled out, before sulking a little, his eyebrows furrowed in child like rage at his loss - again. how muc more could his ego take from that little b*****d.
One day, he will eat that thing.

If the gods were so kind, why did that happen to him? Coughing out after whatever that was hit him, he waited until his orange eyes decided to return to focus once more, the ground almost reaching up to say hello to his copper and cream face, and - making a face of both pain and struggle as he brough his head around to peer and or glare angrily at whatever had the force to pin the lithe teen down.
Upon suddenly hearing the booming sound of Ujaala's voice from over him, he deicded whomever had did this was behind him. And, feeling the weight of the culpret, he attempted to turn himself over to give them a respectful glare, and an earfull, but in midst of turning, he noticed the the end of a long green black and red tail, which peaked his interest. He didn't remember seeing this.
Pawing at it curiously, he wondered where it was going, and what it would bring him to, and -- ohhh they were getting their ear talked off.

Feeling accomplished with telling his bittersweet miniature partner in that deadly game of hide and seek, he gave a soft snort in it's general direction, before realizing that what he had been standing on for the last few minutes, was - indeed moving as he had sort of suspected.
In almost horror as the situation dawned on him, Ujaala instinctivly went to get off the body of fur, his eyes and features suddenly taking a worried aproach. Did he accidentally KILL IT? What if he crippled it, or worse, what if it was a trap, waiting to be sprung and eat him. Oh what an odd odd cruel and ironic fate that would be.
.. and lastly WHAT was holding onto his tail? (.. will finish when I'm mentally sound.)
