Okie dokie…..I basically set up this RP so you can all get in some practice…if you want to…Forest RPs are the best environment to do that in because pretty much anything can happen in a forest….you can let your imagination run wild….these pages should flow with creativity and description.

Ok its a huge forest surrounded by blindingly hot desert, a river called the Ratterlin runs from the forest into the desert and in turn the sea. Its deep and welcoming waters a beautiful sight to any travellers walking or lost in the desert. If you follow the river up stream it takes you to the forest its magnificent canopy towering far beyond any others here on earth. Inside the forest the floors are coated with small shade loving plants and thick soft moss. There are several streams and rivers running through it. So even with the sun and the desert so close the running water and the shade of the trees make it slightly cool even cold, who knows what else hides within its depths. (the possibilities are endless)

Oki Tips....lets see..
All i can say....is I like to see lots of writing in a post....not just any writing though....its has to make sence and sound good...
To achieve this....you just have to remember that when you RP there are always going to be allot more things going on that just you talking or walking....
Take into consideration
arrow Feelings arrow Smells arrow What you can see arrow What you can hear arrow What things look like (its not just a big tree, ((The tree was taller and broader than any other Navea had come across)) its not just a street ((its a cobbled street with smooth warn charcoal coloured cobbles)) bla bla bla...you get me )
Other tips would be
1. If your describing something in a post, try not to use the same word twice in the same paragraph. If possible try not to use it again untill the next page or so. (there will allways be an alternative)
2. If a post seems to short, invent something elce to talk about. (perhaps a beetle scuttled in and out of view, or the birds are singing....or the weather changes)
3. Use Word or another programe with a spell checker to write posts. (it helps trust me...there will allways be typos)
4. (well il think of something)

The sun was relentless; Carver's mouth was dry and stomach was curled. Carver paced across the desert, in a right, left, motion...almost limping. The oasis was long away now. Carver couldn't stand up straight; it felt like he was dieing.

Navea dropped back losing her grip on the sheet as her vessel buckled and heaved violently to the left. She hit the deck hard, her head ringing from her fall, enhanced by the constant flashes and rumbles from the swelling black clouds above. She watched helplessly as a wave rose high above the sail, foam from its rim reaching her deck as it was caught in the furious wind. She brushed aside her dripping wet jet black hair and braced herself for the impact. The giant mass of water hit her boat with so much force that it was torn to shreds. Navea had one last glimpse or her beautiful vessel being pulled down into the sea before she to was under, and all was reduced to darkness.
Navea opened her eyes slowly, blinked once or twice then lifted her hands to shade them from the blinding sun. She rolled onto her belly, spat the sand from between her lips feebly and looked up to find out exactly where she was. The image that was set out before her was not a good one, all that lay for miles and miles ahead of her and to both sides was the rolling sand dunes of a desert. She let out a small sob and bowed her head into the sand.
“I see you are awake then” said a drooling purr to her right Navea’s head whipped round to see a fluffy white cat sitting on the sand licking its paw its icy blue eyes fixed upon her. The bell around its neck tingling softly as it moved its head, sending waves of drowsiness over Navea.
“Mogget?” Navea croaked her throat dry and cracking.
“Yes…Who else could it be!?” He said in an irritated voice and stopped licking himself. “Now are you going to get up so we can get out of here or am I going to have to stand in this heat all day!?” he asked.
Navea rolled over onto her back again and sat up “ It really is you”….she admitted and proceeded to try and stand.

Carver shuffled along the desert, the sun was not his friend. The sand seemed to get in his boots, no matter how secure they were. Some of the sand had turned to glass and was throughly shoved in the lining. Carver had many factors contributing to the heat. Aside the large pack he was carrying, it seemed that a possessed scarf and black clothing wasn't exactly contributing to the being cool. Carver looked over to his right, "Ocean?" he rasped. Of course not. A mirage

A few moments later she was standing and roughly brushing off the sand that was stuck to her tabard. She inspected herself carefully, not at all surprised to discover she that she looked in pretty good shape considering the events of the night before.
“I’m guessing it was you that cast that charter spell that healed my wounds” she asked blatantly, as she poked her hand through a huge hole in her shirt, the frayed edges stained with blood. The cat merely got up and began to trot off town the beach, his white fluffy tail waving through the heavy hot air.
“Follow” He instructed to Navea who was now pulling out her sword to check it was in good order, at the same time as being amazed that it was still there at all. She looked up and quickly made pace with him leaving deep footprints in the sand.
“Where did you come from any way?…I didn’t bring you!” she asked The cat merely gave her a glance and looked away again.
“Right, so that’s how its going to be?” she said moodily

Carver was now sitting on the ground, with his legs, partially folded before him. Carver took out a bottle, that was sun-proofed so the water wouldn't dry out as quickly, was completely evoperated. Carver frowned and pulled himself forever. His mana was completed depleted; it was hard to concentrate in this kind of heat. He was too tired to put up any kind of defense if it came to. Carver, was completely, and utterly, screwed. Carver coughed and a dry stomach feeling was the fruition. Carver placed down the large pack and looked through it, food? water?

They had been walking for roughly an hour now and Navea was beginning to become extremely thirsty. The cat had not spoken a single word since they had started to walk and yet Navea had asked several questions.
“Ok…I think its time you tell me where we are going, I’m not sure how well my human, rather immortal body will last in this kind of heat, and NO charter magic will get me water which is what my body will shortly run out of!” She questioned stubbornly.
“We are walking toward a river that you know as the Ratterlin, its about another 3 hours walk away at this pace” he finally answered. Navea’s head drooped as he said three hours “How am I supposed to last that long?”
“You will have to!” Replied Mogget.
Navea let out a heavy sigh and quickened her walk a little. It was now just passed midday and pretty much the hottest it was going to get. All that was visible ahead was the endless sheets of heat waves rising over the scorching sand, and what appeared to be a rock some way in the distance. She scuffed the sand with her feet a little and looked back down.
“Life form ahead” Pointed out Mogget.
And sure enough, the potential rock had now become clearer as they walked closer, and was indeed another person shaped being. They approached it from behind, Navea cautiously making sure he was not one of the dead before getting to close.

"GAH!" Carver almost popped up, first fumbling, falling over once and then rising up to finally make contact with the two beings.. "Er, Uh...Oh. Solider Carver of Greenguar- ah screw it, just kill me. Carver lowed his defensive claw and pulled himself back down to rest "Desert Bandit? Right." That's what they all are?"

Navea stepped back in alarm and hurriedly steadied herself to prevent herself from falling over backwards. Mogget returned to his sitting position and happily began licking his paw knowing they where not about to move off in a hurry.
Navea approached once more “Err…hello?” she said cautiously her hand gripping her sword tightly encase he suddenly lunged at her or became hostile in another way.
She stood there a moment taking a few deep breaths then took another step forward inspecting his condition. It seemed that he was badly sunburnt and dehydrated, conditions that he would pay for later. Sunburn in Navea’s experience always caused fever or spells of intense cold shivers when in a cooler place, she thought remembering the time she had been told by the healer at home.
“My name is Navea…what is yours?” she asked her voice full of kindness, in attempt to seem less hostile.

Carver got back up "erm...uh...Carver! That's it." Carver was embarrassed, forgetting his own name! "I'm really sorry about before, but...it's really hot!" Carver coughed sand. "*ahem*, What might be you doing in the desert" Carver looked at her face, it wasn't nearly in the condition he was. Carver stood straight, "Anything I can help you with?"

“It appears Sir….Carver….That you are the one in need of the help” she said looking him up and down slowly. The pack on his back looked very heavy and completely unnecessary. She knew what lay ahead however, and he did not, much of everything she would need could be found within the forest, food, water, shelter, heat, medicine, even company if she was to go to the right place.
She let her mind linger on the thoughts of the forest for a few moments, before stopping, remembering how thirsty she was. And thinking of how thirsty he must be!…
“Here let me help” she said stepping forward and tugging at his pack until it slid from his back. Then without warning or word, she undid the top and poured its contents onto the scorching sand.
“Look carefully” she ordered “What there is of grate sentimental value?” She asked…knowing that none of it would be useful to get them across the desert.
She had done that because she wanted him to only take what he REALLY wanted or needed. Everything else would be a burden as they could easily be replaced in the forest.

The bag was full of...lots of random items. There were supplies, boxes for rations, boxes long empty. There was a crate, marked "CAUTION: LIVE ANIMAL" with a quite dead animal. Among other things, there were gun powder, made from the northern factories, which he placed back in the pack. Scrolls and papers, which weren't that important, but weren't too heavy and a few kits, medical, chemistry, and herblore. Carver decided that the lot of it wasn't necessary. Carver nodded and looked up "Thanks, our caravan was well..taken over." Carver bit his lip. "Damn Uniform!" Carver fumbled to take off the coat, then the brown over coat. There was a white shirt, that simply had the enlisted solider rank on it. "I, really don't think I'll get in trouble for that."
