The Nevzorov Haute Ecole, is an interesting school located I believe in Germany. It's run by Alaxader Nevzorov - with an amazing way of working with horses. This school has its beliefs, they are against the use of bits, horse shoes, equine sports etc.
To know more about this school please read this fourm to better understand the NHE way.
http://hauteecole.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4914
These are some video's I came across and thought I would share of Alaxander and this school.

WARNING! Pictures at the beginning are on how "bad" bits can be horrfiying.
As I have my own opinion on this matter, slightly all for it yet slightly hesitant in fallowing - I believe we should all have an open mind. I do ride with a bit at this moment, it'd be suicide for me not to right now with Riley, however I am quite interested in what this man has to offer.
If you would like to know more, please feel free to visit his website.

UPDATE!I have some things I would like to share, I have been checking out this site and the way this man works and I have some fun games/lessons based on Natural Horsemanship, that you could try with your horses to better improve your partnership and communication just on the ground.
Feel free to post any comments on your achievments and even failures - if you do try these - it's real fun, Riley was quite interested with the first one.
The First Lesson - The Ball Game (Common Natural Horsemanship game)

x_Devils_Child_x This is a video I came accross a while back n' thought I'd share. I'd like your opinions, its a good little discussion.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRp3ng2fRw0
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHaEzGz0HeE
WARNING! Pictures at the beginning are on how "bad" bits can be. Skip to about 2:23 in the video - its touching after that. Along the side there is a section that tells about the video and their beliefs if your interested.
However here is my opinion on the video - I do not think bits are that horrible, if used properly they can be sucessful. A bit is guidance, no more. This way of riding is possible and its the result of very good Natural Horsemanship.
I will say now I get the honor of learning from a man who works similar to this (But with buts and the reslut is the same) however it is hard to obtain and takes lots of knowledge. Its timing, feel, understanding, communication, lots of ground work, getting and keeping a horses mind.
To do this, you need to obtain knowledge from an experienced person who has it.
^.^ Hope you enjoy, I think it'll make a great discussion. Wow those are great videos but the part that was sad is when the horses suffered from bull fights and other stuff, crying At the end I loved the part when the horse was shaking hands when his owner alomg with the other stuff like performing and those pictures are amazing.

I've accutally joined the site and am going to be starting the first steps with Riley. I have my own opinions, similar to theirs but also in ways different.
I'm not sure how I want to introduce it to people, like... I work with this stuff with my coach and he's experienced, been working horses his life. So, I know its real since I apply it to my horse and other horses I ride.
I've gotten close bonds to horses using these methods.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6Er1jCy96s
These three horses I have a bond with...
Eagle, is a arab gelding who usually runs from people who come into the pasture with a halter and lead. He doesn't like to be caught, he's a proud horse.
Riley, is my baby. We're working hard together.
Dakota, is a 6 year old QH/Paint gelding. He came to my coaches, wild and with a dislike of people. He's only just recently (Last weekend) ever had a saddle on him and did very well after a year and a half of careful, pateint handling and use of the methods I'm learning. He loves people, walks up to those he trusts. Him and I have an understanding of each other, he'll fallow me around the paddock interested in what I do.
