So, about half the people in my Cadet Company are going to join some branch of the military.
I was wondering: Are you? If so, which branch and why?
Also included in this discussion is are you happy with the JROTC branch you're in? OR are you Navy and you wanted to be Army? Or are you Marine and you wanted to be Air Force? Discuss, cadets!

Second, joining the military is a possibility for me. My aunt and uncle think it's a good idea because my cousin is a nuclear engineer for the navy, and he's retiring at 35, but I seriously doubt that I'd ever be able to do anything like that.

My mother does not want me to join the Military, because she's totally into the whole "men go to war, women don't" thing, and it bugs me alot. I'm not sure if I will join anything or not, but I have enough years left before I have to make a disicion. f I had to join a branch, it would be either the Navy or the Marines, because I love the water, and the ocean, and ships, and stuff, but the Marines cause yeah. I just do.

Joining the Air Force for sure. Been talking to my recruiter for almost a year now. I want to work in a hospital as a lab tech or do nuclear medicine (MRIs and the like). I didn't like Air Force JROTC when I joined, but I have been converted by our Sarge.

Well for me to join the Military is a big no no for me, due to my disability, but I loved the Army, cuz It has alot of stuff that I have been looking for, and I just enjoy their uniforms. And I am in the Army ROTC I loved it so much, so there is no way for me to change a branch for my ROTC.

I'm going into the Army after Colledge, I plan on going to the black to gold to become a feild officer, then to join the Ranger Program

Me, I'm joining after I get some schooling. I wanted to be in Navy ROTC but we only have Marine at our school and I fell in love so I'm not sure which I'll try for but it will be one of those...
