Um.. i have this friend in school who keeps making fun of my best friend he even calls her anmes and hurts her physically.. what should she do? cuz i told her already to just hit him back but is that the best way? sorry if this question is kinda stupid lol.

You should go and tell someone that you can trust, like a teacher or her parents. They should sort it out from there. But if it doesn't work at first, maybe it's best if you keep on telling them and then eventually it should stop.

Ok...so my bestfriend is my boyfriends ex...bad I know. So she knew that I liked him for over two years. So what does she do? She asks him out. They go out but for him it was a pity date so he didnt hurt her feelings because he knows she doesnt take rejection well. So he doesnt really act like a boyfriend and more on the lines of a friend. So she brakes up with him and gets a new boyfriend that likes her. One year later she is still with this guy. Then her ex (my boyfriend) asks me out for the first time, so of course I say yes, I have liked this guy for over two years!!! So she decides that she is going to break up with her boyfriend once she sees that, OMG, WE REALLY LOVE EACH OTHER!!! So she goes up to my boyfriend and asks him to dump me and go out with her. He said that he would never, oh and by the way, I was right there when she asked him to do this!!! So later on that day in school, at lunch, she sees us laughing so she comes up to us and says "OMG Just shut the f*** up and stop talking about me!!!" so I was naturally like "What are you talking about?!?" (and just to clear this up...my boyfriend just sang the peanut butter-jelly time..thing, and made me laugh so hard that I soda came out of my nose....thats what we were laughing about!)So what should I do...she was my best friend...and I didnt do anything wrong...right??

If I were in this situation, I think I would probably dump her. I mean, yeah, she’s your best friend, but she certainly isn’t acting like one at the moment, is she? She probably either A: Still have feelings for her ex or B: Is just jealous. Maybe it’s best to tell her gently to try and calm down a bit and stop overreacting. Though if she then doesn’t change for the sake of your friendship, maybe it’s best to find a new friend.

Okay, well I kinda have a problem. But it’s not about me; it’s about this girl that is in my class at college.
Well…I don’t really know how to explain this clearly. There’s this girl that is in my class at college (like I said before). I think I’ll call her M just for this. Well you see M has been having some emotional problems. She tells me that she sometimes feels lonely because she doesn’t have any friends. And I actually think that she thinks that I am her friend. I do feel sorry for this girl, but to be honest, I don’t want to be friends with her at all. I don’t hate her, it’s just that we both are quiet similar, especially with being shy and stuff. We also don’t really have all that much of the same interests so I don’t think a friendship can really survive on that. Plus, I for one like to be by myself a lot, but M don’t seem to.
And a month or so back, me and two other girls decided to stay be hide when it was break to finish some work. Then M decided to talk to the tutor about some personal stuff despite the fact that we were there. And then M said that she once cut herself with a piece of glass. At this point she was totally crying her eyes out. This actually made me cry also. I weren’t sure if it was out of shock or sympathy, maybe both. I never thought M was the kind to turn to self-harm. Anyways, since then I’ve noticed that M often wears clothes that have sleeves. I’m not sure if she wears them to cover her scars or if she just likes wearing them kinds of clothing, but I don’t dare mention it in case it upsets her.
I really feel sorry for this girl, yet I don’t want to be her friend. And today she told me that she felt “empty”. I wasn’t really sure what to say about that though. Also today I tried smiling at her but she didn’t smile back (or maybe she just didn’t realize that I was smiling at her) and her face looked so sad. I’m thinking of perhaps telling my personal tutor about it so he can tell M’s parents. I’m starting to think that this girl needs therapy. She seems so depressed. What should I do?

but I shall try to help you.

Okay,
maybe you should try to talk to M.
It might help,
even if you don't want to be her friend.
I mean,
I'm shy,
but when I see someone who's like that,
I try to talk and even smile at them.
But if I can't do that,
then I gather one or two,
or sometimes a few of my friends and go talk to that person,
trying to cheer him/her up.

[m i n t y] you need to tell someone about that...do u remeber my friend? well she started cutting herself (she showed me rite after i told her to calm down about me and my bf...), and she is doing better now because i told the school councler(i no i didnt spell that rite) so u should really do the same...but i cant promise that it will work, but they can help...kk?
oh and thanx for the advise, we r kinda friends now and she got back with the kid who likes her and me and my bf are better than ever! (turns out she still does have fealings 4 him)

Um, I don't want to burden you all, but I've got a problem of my own.....
Yes just get this out in the open, I'm 12 and I live with my Grandmother. Ok, onto the problem....
I recently found out that my Grandma has a growth, but we're not sure if its cancer or not. She told my Father (who I don't live with and who never comes to visit me, making me go out to his house to visit him. He is also a severe alchoholic who can't drive at night), and she also told him that if something happens to her and she dies, that I would go live with my cousin N (who's 21). Well, he wasn't happy about that because he basically hates N, just because of what N did when he was dating Ch (who he is no longer with and he blames N). My father and Grandma screamed at eachother over the phone because Grandma wants me to have a good life, and she knows I wouldn't be able to do many things if I lived with my father. N already agreed to let me live with her if something did happen, and I don't want to live with my father because he never comes to MY house to see ME, he just waits till I come out there to HIS house, and also he can spend more time with his new wife, and her family, than he can spend with me! And now I'm afraid where I'm going to go, especially because on Grandma's will it says that I'd go to my Aunt T's (N's mother), but she just died recently of liver cancer (as it says in my sig)....And I'm not going to my mother's because one, I don't even know where she is, two, she could go die in a ******** ditch for all I care, and three, I haven't seen or talked or gotten a letter from her since the end of 2003. And now I'm really scared...Actually, I'm terrified, not just because I don't know where I'll live, but also because its making my Grandma worry and she thinks that there's going to be a fight for me in court. But I don't want to live with my father or my mother, I just want to live with N. And I don't care if the court, or my father or mother say no, I'm going to find a way. But today at school, I went to the nurse because of a really bad stomach and head ache, and she sent me home; and when I was talking with my Grandma on the phone, telling her I felt sick, I was on the verge of tears. When I got home I told her that, and I told her that I've been worried and thinking about what's going to happen, she said I'm going to make my self sick by thinking about it alot. I'm scared....

wow kisa...first im really srry...and second, im sure that you will end up in N's house because no1 would let you live w/ an achoholic, and the court wants wats best 4 U! so im sure everything will end up ok...so wen do u find out?

And on Wednesday my Grandma is going somewhere to get surgery. She's going to get a little bit of the growth cut off to see if it's cancer.. And she won't get back from the surgery place till like, Thursday....So I'll probably stay with N till then. Also, my Grandma said that she is going to go to the Lawyer (sp?) soon. I've also got good news....My father agreed to letting me stay with N, because last Sunday, my other cousin S said he'd help me with a project and he said that for two weeks. But last Monday was when it was due, and he didn't help me, so I went to N's house and N and N's husband, M, helped me. They helped me tape the project (a video book report), and then they told me to go home. So I did, and the two of them stayed up all night tuning it into a dvd, and then N brought it to me at school. When my Grandma told that to my father, he finally agreed, because he knew he could never do anything like that or take me to places I needed to go, unlike N, who will and can take me to places I need to go, and helps me last-minute if I ask her.
But I really do hope everything will be ok Thursday. I also told Grandma that if something does happen to her and she does die, that I don't want to put it in the newspaper 'cause I don't want my mother coming and trying to get me too....

Oh my God, that's so sad =( I'm really sorry about what's happened to your Aunt. Well, as from what I've read, I hope everything goes well and I hope your Grandma will get the all clear. I really hope everything works out for you and your family, I really, really do <3
