(( this thread is rated [A] [L] for action and light))
"When I want action I never have it, and when I want a quiet night at home, theres action." the frusterated voice of Batgirl sighed as she stole with cat like tread threw the remains of an old broken down theater.
"I'll bet this was something back in its day." the female crime fighter prattled to herself casting the beam of her flashlight across the rows of dusty amber colored seat cushions.
"I wonder if the Waynes used to come here." Batgirl gentley smiled her thoughts casting a warm feeling inside herself.
"come on Batgirl snap out of it... lets check the front row," she softly chided herself and began to walk down the stairs to the front, avoiding the stale poppcorn, and ragged places on the carpet.

Although half of her wanted to scare the life out of Batgirl, Echo tried hard not to seem too terrorizing. She slid donw the length of her grapple line from the ceiling. She had to follow Batgirl, one way or another, in case she needed back up, but now..."Thw Waynes did come here. Ms.Wayne was a big fan of theater works..." she hoped not too scare her so badly.
She looked around from where she dangled, upside-dow, looking at the antique beauty with pure admiration. "Bet Wayne could bring it back to its old glory if he had the guts to even come here...."

In a split second, Batgirl out of fright and lack of recognition had shot a batarang out in the direction of Echo's voice.
"Oh My!" Batgirl hardly had a moment to speak when she relized who it was up there in the old rafters.
Afraid that the Batarang would slice Echos rope Batgirl quickly pulled out another in the hopes to deflect the first one.
"Batman will kill me if he finds out I killed you!"

"Easy with those!" Echo yelped, already hauling herself up to the higher portion of the rope while the part she had been clinging to fell away like a dead black snake....She watched the second hit an old seat and thanked everything she had such good friends. That tried to kill her but couldn't quite do it..."Yeah....About that....I'm sure he'd be hiding a smile the entire time." Echo said, letting go of her rope and landing on her feet. "He's not exactly fatherly if Birdie isn't enough indication."

Feeling embarrassed at almost killing a fellow vigilanti Batgirl blushed and tugged at her yellow glove.
"some how him simleing like that, is almost worse, than being yelled at." she confided, walking over to pull out the batarang from the old theater seat.
Remembering the earlier bit of there conversation Batgirl looked up at the dusty theater ceilings, and pondered aloud.
"I wonder why Bruce Wayne doesn't restore this place and dedicate it to his mother." she couldn't help thinking of the few stories she had hear from Uncle Alfred about that wonderful lady, as he called her.

Echo shrugged, taking a seaton one of the dust-kissed old seats like it was nothing. She looked around, making sure mostly that nothing was about to cave in or anything. "I think it might be a little too painful for him. He's still pretty obsessed about it, and maybe showing actual emotion like that could make him snap. It would be a good thing for him to do...Someday, when he probably feels more entitled to it." She took a breath, smiling. "I know that's how I feel sometimes, like I can't shouldn't do things just for my mom because she's gone, because it wouldn't be what she would have wanted. Oh, plus if anyone has to go through what he went through right outside of this theater it would probably be a pretty bad feeling of guilt..."

"Ugh, Harley, I've got to get out of this rat trap!" Ivy exclaimed, leaping off the small, dusty bed in their hotel room from the magazine she read at least 5 times that night. "Let's go out somewhere, anywhere, I can't take being cooped up any longer!"

"I'm sorry," she said softly and bent over looking curiously at the old moth eat'n posters that littered part of the theater floor Batgirl shrugged. "your right, I know Alfred would say the same thing,... but maybe some day in the future ..." Batgirl paused and ran her fingers threw the dust that covered an old play bill, "I wonder...if Bruce wayne would mind if...perhaps some one else restored this place....in his parents memory..." she smiled to herself thinking what a nice gift it would make for the weathy mans up coming birthday. "maybe... its just a crazy idea, but its a nice crazy idea." she almost laughed.

Dusty M. "Ugh, Harley, I've got to get out of this rat trap!" Ivy exclaimed, leaping off the small, dusty bed in their hotel room from the magazine she read at least 5 times that night. "Let's go out somewhere, anywhere, I can't take being cooped up any longer!" rolling over onto her stomach from her position on the floor rug Harley looked up at Red and sighed, "I thought ya said we had ta lay low?" Harley had begged for days to go out, she couldn't resist teasing Pam about that.

Echo shrugged the sorry off, unaffected as always and looking to be upbeat instead. "You know...." She began after a momment of thought, smiling in an almost playfully wicked way. "Two good things could come from this place, the first a good gift for a troubled soul, and the second...." Echo snapped to her feet on the seat, stepping onto the bac of the seat and holding her balance as she looked around. "...A good secret base under it...While the regular appearance is kept above ground..." She grinned. "But that's just me."

Looking pleased Batgirls eyes gave off a schemeing glint,
"Why I do belive that would be very good reasons, indeed," she smirked and took a running leap over to the rickety old stage.
Turning to Echo Batgirl thumbed at the stage "now you wouldn't happen to know the secret intrance would you?" she asked knowing of course that if anyone new it Echo surlye would.

Smiling in her silliest way, Echo sprang from the seat's back onto another seat and landed after a short hand stand. She pulled herself onto the stage and did the most natural thing she could think of. She closed her eyes and stomped hard, surprised when the entire thing didn't collapse, she caught the hollow thump and opened her eyes again. "Right over here." she said confidentally, taking a few more steps to the center and getting down on one knee to pry oped an almost hidden line on the floor.

"Impressive as always," Batgirl applauded and sprang gymnist syle over the orchestra pit, and up on the stage to join Echo.
"does it a have a catch hidden somewhere?" Batgirl asked pulling out a a small red ovel and holding it to her eye.
"its amazing the gagets that Goth corp creates these days." she giggled looking through the lense for a better view of the trap door.

"Yes, yes it does have a catch." Echo said in a grave tone, digging her nails deeper into the crease and pulling with more strength until it gave and she tumbled back with the cloud of smoke rising. She covered her mouth and finished with "If you're afraid of spiders the size of a distionary, this isn't the best place to be looking around." She smiled, standing up, she was getting the hand of her ecolocation already, seeing vibrations of sound, it was pretty fun. "Gee, makes you wonder who Gotham industries is trying to market to, hmm?" she grinned, taking out a flashlight.

covering her mouth to keep out the dust, and to keep from laughing at how funny Echo looked when she flew backwards.
"ermm ya, does make you wonder what nut works there." she coughed and held her hand out to Echo to help her all the way up, while reaching for her own flashlight.
"spiders huh? I supose as long as there not hero eating spiders we can brave the unknown." she joked while peering down into what looked like a cavern instead of a hideing place under a stage.
